Jean Pike writes a beautiful love story that highlights the love of God. I enjoyed the characters finding there way to the reality of leaning into God for what they need in their time of pain and need. I loved all the characters and the small town atmosphere and the ability for God to change people though the love and compassion of others. I am a new reader of M. Jean Pike but I am going to go and seek more uplifting stories.
