Merry Christmas everyone! And kudos Tarah and CTR for creating Santa Watch. I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas weekend and are ready for a great 2012. How do I know it will be a great 2012? Because I've (RNC) been working on a huge project that will revolutionize the romance novel industry, especially the indie side. Yes, revolutionize it, bring about a radical change. A change for the better, a change to inspire, to learn, improve, enhance, produce, benefit, expand and succeed. Did I get your attention yet? Good 😉
Release date will be the beginning of January 2012. My goal is to make your process in this industry easier, quicker and more beneficial for everyone 🙂 For those of you who go to conventions/events, so far in 2012 I'll be at The Chocolate Affaire in Glendale, AZ February 4, 2012, at Tucson Festival of Books March 10-11, 2012, at Arizona Dreamin' (AD2012) in Chandler, AZ June 1-3, 2012 and at C. Deanne Rowe's Book Launch Party and RNC Workshop June 8-9 in Des Moines, IA.

You know its weird, it never occurs to me that a cover model might be on more than one cover. I think the only cover artist I know of who uses models I recognize on sight is Chris McGrath (he has a male and female duo that he uses A LOT), but wow sir you've graced many a cover of books I've read (or wishlisted!).

13 years agoLove Jimmy Thomas, I spent quite a bit of time chatting with him at the LA RT this year. He ia a nice guy and very photogenic, of course. I am sure Tarah that any cover with JT is a good one, he is very versatile in his modeling.

13 years agoMerry Christmas to you too Jimmy! I've gotta agree with you on the kudos to Tarah for putting this all together. I know how much work she's done on it! I've gotta say – I'm intrigued. Something that is going to revolutionize the indie side of the romance industry? As a publisher (indie and previously owned New Age Dimensions a small press), cover designer (just did one with you in it for Tarah) and author – I'll definately be checking out RNC in January. I'm already on the mailing list so I can't wait to find out what it is you're doing!

13 years agoI get his new stock shoots every month or so and it is interesting seeing the stock photo verses the finished cover. He does have a very distinctive look.
