Aislinn, Queen of Summer, is torn between her best friend and her eternal King. It seems as the season comes closer to her namesake, her fae feelings for the King continue to get stronger.
Seth knows that with her becoming Queen of Summer, he must learn to see her with the King of Summer, Keenan. Even though jealousy wants to be let loose, he has a plan to rectify his mortality situation.
While Seth plans to become immortal, new developments are on the horizon from the other Queens and Kings of the fae court. Niall, the King of the Dark Court, considers Seth a close friend and almost like a brother. Bananach, Lady of War, loves nothing more than a really good fight and begins to weave a web of deception among Seth, Aislinn, and Keegan. When Seth goes missing for months, will Aislinn be able to stay true to their budding relationship or will her pull towards Keegan prove too strong?
Fragile Eternity is a good tale full of court intrigue and other realms described with beautiful clarity. Ms. Marr takes us on a journey that tells the story about how far one man will go to prove his love to a woman who must spend eternity at the side of another. While this book is an entertaining novel, I found parts of the story confusing. I am not sure if it is because of the previous tales written or if it is just the author’s writing style, but at times I was totally lost and not sure which way it was going. For the most part, though, this story has enough intrigue, romance, backstabbing, and deceit to make it a novel worth reading.
