First Friday Book Synopsis, April 7, 2023
April 7, 2023 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am CDT
This is the monthly in-person gathering for the First Friday Book Synopsis
FOR THE LIFELONG LEARNER IN ALL OF US!
Come to learn; and make some great connections!
MAKE 2023 A YEAR OF LEARNING!
—————–
Our April meeting begins our 26th year of the FIRST FRIDAY BOOK SYNOPSIS!
Each month, Randy Mayeux presents synopses of two useful, best-selling business books. Randy provides a thorough, comprehensive synopsis handout, and then presents the synopses.
People follow along on their handouts while Randy speaks, marking them up with their own notes. The First Friday Book Synopsis is truly a shared learning expereince!
This registration is for the in-person gathering at the Park City Club — but the presentation is also broadcast on Zoom.
We begin year 26 of our monthly events in April, 2023.
If you cannot attend in person, but would like to participate remotely, visit Randy’s blog for details.
The two books for the April 7 session are:
1. How Big Things Get Done: The Surprising Factors that Determine the Fate of Every Project, from Home Renovations to Space Exploration and Everything in Between by Bent Flyvbjerg and Dan Gardner
2. Ideaflow: The Only Business Metric that Matters by Jeremy Utley and Perry Klebahn
