This recipe is a take-off on the old Glug or Glog made in most of the Scandanavian countries especially around Christmas. it is easy and tastes great!
Heat in a large saucepan one cup of red wine for each serving. Add one cup of Dr. Pepper soda for each serving. Put some citron, raisins or other dried fruit into the pot to warm too. Stop it just short of boiling and serve, with a stick of cinnamon for a stirrer if desired. Fast and fun and a bit of the alcohol dissapates with the heating, more if you do let it boil! So you can hold off on the punch for the kiddos a bit longer
