Words can often come orally or on paper. When transpired by many writers, words come from the heart. They can hurt, or reach out and make a person sad or happy. Words can be weak, and then there are times words are strong enough to pierce the heart. Prose, in the form of poetry, can have many lines of wording, or just a line or two that will leave the reader with thoughts mingling in their head.
From ink jumping out from pens to craft stories, to children leaping and singing, to the sweet sounds of summer, poems lend inspiration. Pardon Us Ms. Writer had moments where I was actually caught up in the words. My mind drifted along with each visual movement allowing me to recall memories of present, or of old. I was able to think of seashells along the beach, sand in my toes, and even the sound of seagulls flying overhead.
Kite, alone, made me feel as if I was flying right along in the sky looking at everything down below. Calculation Operation allows one to ponder on the gender of many things as well as what makes the really important thing as one free nation. Invocation recalled nostalgic school years. The book is full of lovely prose that stands out, giving much meditation to the reader.
I enjoyed everyone that Ms. Easley-Walsh dishes up in this unique assortment in Pardon Us Ms Writer. Light Upon the Water reminded me of the night I sat out by the lake with the moon shining brightly upon the clear blue water, allowing me to see the beauty that God offers with the night light from above, and Magazine Beauty is one of those that remind me that real beauty is from within. Ms. Easley-Walsh does an excellent job in penning a robust selection of verse that I will always treasure.
