Jasmine does not have time for relationships and when the billionaire Cris walks into her life, she finds that he is unwilling to be her good time man, but wants her for the rest of their lives. When she discovers who his family is, she is unsure if she wants any part of his world.

The world knows there are mafia families in New York and though Cris family should be the sixth, they turned their back on the mafia life and instead are generations of good men who choose to lead a life that is positive for themselves and those around them. Just as he has found the woman of his dreams and finally approaches her, he realizes she does not believe in relationships and there is unrest in the mafia world which just may invade his world.

Cris wanted more from Jasmine than sex from the moment he saw her for the first time. The arrangements he made to get her as his woman is something he does not want to tell Jasmine. When the secrets are out, he can only hope that his love can be enough to earn forgiveness. Can he keep Jasmine safe and proof his love before the explosive fallout destroys everything he has worked for and loved?

I love Cris and his family; they are all so very special and anyone would be proud to be a part of them. Jasmine is such a strong woman who wants to make her mark in the world. Both characters are extremely strong but together they could have a love to last a lifetime if they can learn to forgive and give in. The story is heart meltingly hot and exciting with no end to action until the very last page. The writing of Ms. Munton makes me yearn for Ace’s Story as he is a man with deep emotions he hides even from himself. I highly recommend the author and the first story in the Brooklyn Brothers series.
