HITMAN NEXT DOOR
Rating: 5 Cups
Nate is not a good man by anyone’s standards. He was supposed to be guarding the boss’ daughter, but soon finds he is really doing it for himself, which is insane because it could get him killed.
Lemon lives a quiet life alone, avoiding anything to do with the father who got her mom killed. When the new neighbor moves in, she wonders if he knows about the cursed houses they live in. It is silly because there is no way her neighbor would ever look at her.
Nate and Lemon think they have it all under control, but the curse is about to have a say. Can Nate save Lemon from the killer in the dark? Can Lemon get past the pain of discovering who Nate is? The house does not care – it is on a mission to make sure everyone who buys these homes has no choice.
Hitman Next Door has an unusual twist in the plot. I loved the characters and could not put the book down because I had to find out if the legend won. The writing is so amazing because Ms. Crescent makes the reader feel sorry for a mafia boss and his hitman. I highly recommend Hitman Next Door to all romantics who love a story about overcoming the odds.
