Contemporary Erotic Romance
Rating: 3 cups

Erotic romance writer Honey attended a conference in Las Vegas in lieu of her planned wedding, cancelled by her fiancé. Before she heads home, she gives herself a solitary night to celebrate a new release. Inhibitions relaxed by an abnormal dose of alcohol, she is readily swept off her feet by a gorgeous tattooed man who says he is a musician.

Jace, lead guitarist of hot rock group Fierce Seduction, has sworn off groupies after an ugly paternity suit. He winds up alone at a favorite hotel bar after the show where an intriguing subtly sexy woman catches his eye. Before he leaves, he has asked her to marry him. She agrees and they get the deed done.As memories return the next morning, Honey is sure this will be the shortest marriage on record and plans to slip out.

Jace says not so fast, but his band is not happy with their leader’s sudden change of plans. He offers Honey a year’s ‘trial marriage’ to try to make it work. Can a sedate novelist and a rowdy rock musician possibly build a sound partnership based solely on the incendiary chemistry they share?

Not another drunken Vegas marriage story, I said. Not so fast. The cliché plot is saved by two delightful and believable characters, a few twists and turns, and sex hotter than Phoenix summers.  If very realistic language and almost every imaginable intimate encounter you can visualize intrigues rather than puts you off, you will enjoy this fast, sizzling read.
