just kind of go with Christmas, don’t they? When my daughter was a kid and at home (she now has near grown kids of her own!) we used to do all sorts of cookies! Her favorite were the roll out kind, butter and sugar cookies, that would have to be decorated. We made a heck of a mess but sure had fun! I miss that.

I still bake some but not like I used to. A family favorite besides any homemade cookies was the easy fudge you make with sweetened condensed milk and baking chips! That was a speciality of mine and I liked to do layers like chocolate and peanut butter. For awhile you could get cinnamon flavored chips too and they were yummy as fudge or in oatmeal cookies especially. I don’t know why they quit making them. Cinnamon is a fave flavor of mine along with caramel. I did find some caramel chips but they are hard little things–I guess they melt with the heat though. I may see in a few days–if we get a cool and cloudy day that baking urge is likely to kick in!!
My grandkids would be sooo dissapointed if I don’t do some!
