Ethan Trent has no faith in love. He thinks love is only for fools who fall victim. Ethan leads a life of luxury where he gets everything he wants and from the moment he sees Cale, he wants him.

Cale Brooks names himself a whore, and so that is what he does. Ethan Trent is another in a long line of clients who pays for the use of his body. As their time together progresses, Cale finds himself in danger of feeling more attached than a man on the run should.

Ethan and Cale come together and find more than either expected. Unfortunately, their time is running out because Cale’s past is about to catch up to him. Together the two must determine if they have something worth fighting for -- no matter the cost.

Lisa Marie Davis has put a modern spin on the age-old story of Cinderella, if Cinderella had been a man. I was moved to tears by Cale’s feelings of hopelessness. The author’s incredible talent for projecting onto the reader the very emotions she would like to invoke is amazing. The characters created by Ms. Davis are complex, deep and very realistic in nature.
