They come up to her, are introduced, stare at her forehead, and then proceed to walk away and ignore her for the rest of the night. Determined to get over her boredom, she walks outside and is attacked by some vile creature.
Nicholas knows he should stay away from Jo, but there is something primal that calls him to her. With her life at stake, he continues to watch out for her even as it brings him closer to those who want him dead. But Jo knows a thing or two about human nature, and there is no way that Nicholas is the ruthless killer everyone is saying he is. But she may change her mind when she realizes that he is not human at all but a vampire.
Ms. Sands always brings her best to the table when she writes her novels, and The Renegade Hunter is no exception. In fact, I would have to say that this book is one of her best works yet. The humor, suspense, sexual tension, and romance within the pages make this story outstanding. I love how Jo believes in Nicholas’ innocence even though others who have known him for hundreds of years are willing to condemn him. Her faith and love for the rogue vampire makes this an exceptional read that will have you begging for more from this very talented author!
