Administrative Guidelines, Content Guidelines, Author Requests for Reviews & Publisher Requests for Reviews
Coffee Time Romance welcomes all review submissions for the most genres including erotic, inspirational, alternative lifestyle, BDSM and gothic romance. We at CTR want our reviews to be honest so that the reader will get the information they need. Our reviews are not meant to be in any way a personal attack on the author. These are just ‘opinions’ about the book/plot/story. Favorable reviews can be valuable promotional material.
Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, we do not guarantee to review every book submitted. Plus the following should be noted:
- We reserve the right not to review any book at our discretion.
- We do not guarantee a time period within which the review will be completed. We aim for 4 weeks, but sometimes this isn’t possible.
- We do not guarantee a glowing review for every book submitted.
- If the person submitting the book for review is not happy with the resulting review, we will NOT reconsider the work for an additional review until the desired result is achieved.
- We work hard to ensure honest reviews; therefore, we will not pull a review solely based on a negative review rating.
Also books submitted with the following subject matter will NOT be reviewed:
- incest (including step-relations)
- rape
- sexual relations with the minors
- sexual relations with siblings
- torture and/or mutilation
- non-consensual sexual relations
- use of bodily functions (feces, “golden showers”, etc.)
About CTR Reviews…
Reviews at CTR are written by staff reviewers only. If you are a prospective reviewer interested in joining our staff, please contact us about the possibility of becoming a reviewer.
Reviews will appear at CTR on our reviews page. Authors/Publisher/Person who requested review will be notified via email of the review upon completion.
Permission is granted to the author, publisher or designated agent to use CTR reviews of their submitted work either in it’s entirety or by use of a “snippet” so long as the reviewer and CTR are referenced.
