Rachel Montgomery has a special talent that has complicated her life. She is a clairsentient that sees and hears ghosts and it seems she cannot turn it off. Since she had to kill a man that was intent on killing her, it seems that the ghosts are getting worse and danger is imminent.
Dr. Garrett Wolfstrom has been in love with Rachel forever, yet she seems to always push him away. He knows she is different and is hiding something, but he has no clue to just what her secret is. He only wishes he can convince her that they belong together no matter what.
With the ghosts getting more anxious since the death of a killer, Rachel seems to be in more danger than she would like. She is unsure if she can let Garrett in on what she can do, but their attraction to each other wins out and she can only trust him with her heart and soul and hope to get them out of danger.
It is scary to think ghosts can cause so much havoc. There is great chemistry between Garrett and Rachel, resulting in a fun, entertaining read. Since this is part of a series I would recommend reading the books in order, that way the background characters would be more understood, although the author does a good job of relating who they are from the first book. Overall if you love ghosts and a bit of mystery this is a good read for you.
