Initially Nate does not think he has a chance with Thiago, in fact he is not even sure if Thiago is gay or not. When a late night tryst convinces him otherwise, Nate wants more. Nate gets more hot encounters with Thiago and realizes relatively soon that what he feels for Thiago is different than what he has felt for his other hook ups. But there is more going on with Thiago than Nate realizes and when Thiago finally drops the proverbial bomb, Nate wants to help him, but it looks like Thiago may not want his help and may instead see it as interference in his personal life. Will these two be able to work out their differences, or will Nate take an action that will separate the two forever?
Thiago has plenty of hot sexy, man on man action, so if that is what you are looking for in your m/m romance then I can easily recommend this book. It is very well written. However, while I enjoyed parts of this story, some of the story line is a little too dark for my taste. The characters definitely have flaws, maybe too many flaws and the allusion to cheating did not sit well with me either. I was glad to see that it had a happy for now conclusion, but the fact that the author chose not to really tell the reader the ending and instead chose to leave it up to the reader’s imagination left me feeling as if I were hanging with no real final conclusion to the story.
