THE SHERIFF’S CHRISTMAS ANGELS
Texas Lawmen, Book 4
Contemporary, Southern, Western Romance
Rating: 5 Cups
Cole thought his life was perfect just the way it was; too bad his mom does not agree. When his Mom hires Emma to get his life in order and help with his daughter, he grows concerned that he and his daughter Charlie will come to rely on someone passing through.
Emma was on the road to her future until her truck gives out in a small town. She rescues Charlie and the puppy she was trying to rescue and discovers a home she never thought to have, but she is not sure she would be welcome to stay.
Cole and Emma put a time to their agreement, but with time neither want Emma to leave. When Cole’s past blows back into town, Emma is sure she is only in the way and decides to leave. Will Cole give up on her or will he realize he and Charlie can no longer live without her?
Charlie was a lot of fun and added an extra dimension to the love story between Cole and Emma. Debra Holt made the little girl the focal point for the story as children should be. Emma and Cole are beautiful characters, but Ms. Holt makes all of her characters vivid which leads to an epic visual of the small town McKenna Springs. I love The Sheriff’s Christmas Angels and would recommend it for any romantic at heart.
