Violet is a woman intent on ridding the streets of Chicago of the vermin who walk as men and who make up the local organized crime. People in Chicago see her as someone who will help them when the local crime boss comes calling. She is out for justice because these very same people took someone very dear to her away from her twelve years ago.
Mason and Jacob Williams are leopard shifters and part of the Black Ridge Pride. They are at war with the local crime boss and his cronies. Like Violet, they want to make the streets of Chicago safe for everyone, human and shifter alike.
When Mason and Jacob’s alpha sends them to find Violet in the hopes of her being able to help them combat the crime boss’s latest weapon against shifters, they at first think they are going to have to save her, until they see her in action taking down three thugs. Of course as soon as they scent her, they know she is their mate, though Violet likes the idea, she is on a mission and feels she cannot take the chance of having mates. Fortunately for her Mason and Jacob are persistent and it does not take long for them to convince her otherwise, and for them to join her fight. However, she is terrified that once they hear her story and find out who she really is, that they will no longer want her. Then, to make matters worse, the crime boss sets a trap for Violet. Will her mates be able to get to her in time?
I loved Justice for Violet. The world building is creative, though I had to wonder about shifters living in a city surrounded by concrete, but I guess like people, they got used to it. The love scenes are scorching hot and imaginative. I also loved the way Mason and Jacob love Violet and do not care about her past, even when they find out her deepest secrets. Violet’s need for justice and sense of honor also make this story one to remember. If you love paranormal stories with HEA’s and a hot, sexy menage, then you do not want to miss Justice for Violet. I highly recommend it!
