EVIL SPEAKS SOFTLY

Have you ever wondered where a writer’s muse comes from? It is an age old question you might not want the answer to. Olivia is a Recorder, whatever that is, and a crazy, sexy man has declared himself her Watcher.
Olivia is unsure she wants to believe the truth. Gage’s declarations seem so far beyond reality but when her gram starts talking about the same thing she is forced to realize it is her reality and she has pissed off her muse.
Olivia comes to understand she cannot hide from who she is and what Gage is to her; though he has become much more than her Watcher. Pissing of her muse leads her and Gage down a path she is unsure they will survive, but she is determined her story will end differently than that of her ancestors.
All I can say about Evil Speaks Softly is wow. From the very first page I was intrigued by the unusual story line. After all, muses are what people speak of when it comes to writing but Ms. Bonatch puts an insane spin on the writer’s muse. I love the relationship between Gage and Olivia because though the connection is immediate it grows at a more natural rate. I fell in love with this book and the writing of Ms. Bonatch; she has converted me to a reader who will dabble in the scary from time to time. I highly recommend Evil Speaks Softly though if you have a muse it may make you wonder if the voice is really in your head.
