Project Management Skills for the PrePublished Author - All Month - Dana Marton is our Seminar Host

This thoughtful and fun workshop is designed to make developing writers think about the nuances of the craft rather than repeating the same old, same old. The function of each of your characters: goodie? Baddie? Robin Hood? An unreliable narrator?  The page is your stage and your characters the actors; don't let them stand around and just read their lines. Characters must act, react and interact. Chapters 1 and 2 have different functions: how and why and the importance of forward momentum.  Manipulating character emotion: why character emotion and reader emotion need not be the same. Ideas and exercises for becoming your character.

Unstoppable heros, Uncompromising love, Unforgettable passion.

Science Fiction Romance author Kayelle Allen spent years developing the universe for her books. Her debut novel was so spicy it made seasoned Romance readers blush. Appealing to every gender and sexual orientation, her command of the romantic language evokes passion in all its forms. Her offbeat humor and surprising twists generated the motto, "Think you know what'll happen next? No way! It's by Kayelle..."

Having written as Amy Gallow for over ten years, a reasonable question is why I would choose to change, especially as I will continue to write romance under her name (with at least one book contracted and another in preparation)?

The answer is that I want to go places where Amy’s friends might feel uncomfortable, even though a strong romantic thread runs through all my stories. Places like the mind of a veteran of WWI, the French Foreign Legion, WWII and Korea, or that of the longest serving Chinese detective in the Victoria Police on the eve of the execution of a Chinese miner convicted largely on his investigation and information gained while he and the miner shared a pipe of opium in July 1875, and that of a British Naval officer convicted of sodomy in 1815, but hung because he knew too many things embarrassing to those in power at the time. They are works in progress and one is already contracted to Eternal Press, another is in the submission process and I am deep in research for the third. There are others in the pipeline, waiting their turn. All a little different from anything Amy might write, even though she has my gratitude for giving me the services of editors, publishers and reviewers as I learnt my craft.

Hello to my fellow writers and readers. I am Australian, but now live in Florida with my alpha-male husband and sweet daughter who are Aussies as well. Besides dodging hurricanes, I love living in America. My husband was offered a position in Florida, but we both know, we only moved here for my writing career.

I am the sub-genre queen. I write historical paranormal erotic romance novels. Say that five times fast. LOL. I like to bring something different to the readers and I have a reputation for spicy scenes, to say the least. Come join me in the forum, but I warn you, the topics will lean toward men, romance, and sex.

I started writing when I was about twelve. I'd just read one of Elaine Mitchell's brumby books (not the silver brumby series, one of the others) and I hated the ending. So I did what seemed the most natural thing to do--I rewrote it <g>.

I haven't stopped writing since--though I have to admit, it's only in the last fifteen years that I've seriously thought about getting published.

To date, I've completed a total of seventeen novels, (not counting the rewrite of Elaine Mitchell's!) although the first three will probably never see the light of day. I thought they were brilliant at the time, but looking at them now, I can only shudder. I still think the ideas are great, but basically, all three books would need to be entirely rewritten. Maybe I'll get back to them one day, when I have the time and nothing else to write. I'm a member of RWAustralia, the Princess Lulu Regrets crit group (don't ask about the name, because it's just unexplainable <g>), the Sock Monkeys, and the Monkeylint support group.  Learn more at my web site!

Contemporary, Traditional, Sweet - Do you hanker for something just a little different when reaching for a romance? You'll find it in Anne Ashby's warm, fuzzy and fun stories suitable to share with older generations without fear of any embarrassing blushes. With the door closed on any sexual scenes traditional/sweet writers must rely on strong plots and well defined characters to hook readers and carry the story. Check out her debut novel "Worlds Apart" to see how she uses the subtle language differences between her native New Zealand and USA to help confuse a New Zealand heroine and her American hero. Published with The Wild Rose Press, her second book "Devon's Dream" is due for release Oct 8 and "Time to Bury the Past" will be available early in the new year.

Anne is looking forward to meeting and chatting with anyone writing/reading traditional, sweet or inspirational romance. Visit her website website or facebook Anne Ashby

Hello all!  I'm a new author who loves both romance and adventure stories.  My writing heroes are people like Tolkien and Patrick O'Brian, whose worlds are fantastic places to be and whose action scenes leave you biting your nails and on the edge of your seats with tension.  But I've always felt that what would make their books *even better* would be a romance between a couple of the heroes.  And I adore Jane Austen - she's my romance heroine - but I can't help wishing there were a few duels or naval battles in her books.

So mine are an attempt to have both!  If you too like a bit of action with your romance, or a bit of romance with your action, then hopefully I can help you to have your cake and eat it :)

Will has always been a storyteller, but only recently started writing them down. The focus on erotic romance was an easy choice for the man who has always considered himself both a throwback to the warrior poet ethic and an extremely sexual being. Will admits to being an incorrigible flirt, but he also can be quite serious at times. He is always seeking feedback, diverse points of view and the adrenalin of a new experience.

I've been writing many, many years, but didn't get published until 2003.  I love books that ground you in a familiar world, but still offer elements of the paranormal (vampires, wizards, shape-shifters cursed dukes, etc.).  My heroes all tend to be Alpha males who strongly believe they need to protect the women who enter their lives.  Though they may admire the heroine's courage and even understand her need to be strong and independent, they always think they know what is best for her.  More often than not, they are wrong, and it is up to the heroine to help them recognize their mistake and slowly change their attitudes.  In the end, the hero will usually be willing to compromise, to an extent, and may even admit he is overly protective, but he can never really change his attitude since his need to protect is so deeply engrained in him.  The heroine comes to understand her hero's faults, and even grows to love him more for having them.  She learns the best way to get around her domineering partner is simply to love him and offer her love back freely in return.

“Best selling novelist, Margaret Blake likes nothing more than swopping genres. Writing contemporary romance and historical romantic suspense has proved successful for Margaret. She has been the best selling author of the month at Whiskey Creek Press on two occasions and is always in their top ten. Recently she has been writing romantic suspense for a hardback publisher – Robert Hale Limited – and has had super reviews. A visit to her website at www.margaretblake.co.uk is well worth while.

Margaret has been married over thirty years. She has one son and three gorgeous grandchildren who, with their beautiful Mom, live in Florida. It is great to be able to visit them but would be better if they were closer.

Margaret likes nothing better than curling up with a good book, unless of course she is writing one!

J. H. Bográn Born and raised in Honduras, always been interested in writing. Son of a journalist, he ironically prefers to write fiction rather than fact. In his professional life he has worked in the garment industry for the past 15 years. At least until he can write full-time. Adrianne Brennan is a romantic dark fantasy, paranormal, and science fiction author who stumbled into her love of writing by accident at the tender age of ten when she was given a creative writing assignment for her science class. The end result was her writing a brief science fiction comedy featuring numerous puns regarding vegetables. Once the writing bug bit, it bit pretty hard, and from the age of fourteen onwards she worked on a lengthy fantasy novel.  At this time, this fantasy novel is still a work in progress as she continues to focus on her other works.

An avid reader, Adrianne has been most influenced by various science fiction and fantasy authors including Madeleine L'Engle, Roger Zelazny, Laurell K. Hamilton, LA Banks, Yasmine Galenorn, Michael Ende, Neil Gaiman, and Alan Moore. Like her main character from Blood of the Dark Moon, she professes a love for Iamblichus and Greek philosophy.

Hello everyone! My name is Cara Bristol and I write contemporary erotic romances about alpha heroes and sassy heroines. I find the dynamics of all human relationships (husband-wife, parent-child, siblings, friends, boss-employee) fascinating. My romances are definitely character-driven; I like to explore what makes a relationship tick—and what makes that romantic clock stop. My erotic romances are hot and steamy and push the envelope a little. But love is always the focus. “Intimate Submission,” my first erotic romance novella, has been published by Black Velvet Seductions, while my second erotic romance novella, “Secret Desires” is soon to be published by BVS. I’ve written my entire life and professionally, I’ve worked as a newspaper reporter and corporate public relations manager. I’ve published several short stories in mainstream women’s magazines, as well as a mainstream novel under a different name.

Hi! I'm a freelance writer from New York City. I write in several genres, but publish erotica as Gianna Bruno. Sorry to be so mysterious, but in order to indulge my wildest fantasies, I have to work incognito.

My erotic short story "Hot Chocolate Kiss" was published by Eternal Press in January 2010

I was thrilled to receive five star reviews on Amazon, with readers enjoying the magical realism and down to earth nature of the characters. Seriously Reviewed said my writing was "quirky" which is true, and the trailer was one of the six selected for their April "You Gotta Read" contest.

I am waiting word on a erotic paranormal novella with historic elements called The Journey and am also working on contemporary humorous erotic novella At Home With Peter and Sandra.

To keep in touch, get the latest news, and blog with Rick and Keela from Hot Chocolate Kiss.

Hola, I'm James Buchanan, a multipublished author of, primarily, homoerotic romance & fiction. My Novella, Twice the Cowboy is the 2006 Preditors & Editors #1 Romance Short Story, the 2006 Golden Rose Winner for best Novella and has garnered several other awards. I write everything from fantasy to contemporary to suspense.

Life wise, I grew up in a small Texas town, hours away from any other small Texas town and about as far west as you could go and still be considered in Texas. A stint at the University, where I ostensibly majored in English, garnered me a degree useful for being someone's secretary. The absolute lack of employment opportunities sent me to Southern California. After a stint in County Mental Health (administration not client) I ran screaming into the field of Law. So far I have been practicing for nine years and someday I might even get it right.

You can find my work primarily at www.torquerepress.com and www.phaze.com.  I look forward to chatting with ya'll.

Welcome to my lil’ page about me and my muse.

And my muse is quite active these days.  My first love of romance came in the form of Silhouette Romance novels.  Those lil’ bits of heaven made me hold out for the love of my life.  And yes, I found him.  We’ve been together for over 20 years, 15 of them married.  Our two sons keep us very busy.  In all of these years I never stopped reading and in the last few years I found the time to follow a dream of become a romance novelist.  Now that has been a fantastic ride.  Creating people, worlds and steamy, sexy happily ever after’s.  I like my heroines to have spunk and wit, and my heroes to have a need for the women that fall into their lives.  I love all things paranormal.  Time travel romance is something I think we’ve all read at one time or another.  And let’s face it, erotic romance is like an addiction.  You know you shouldn’t, but you just have to.  I read it all.  I write it all.

Sit back, search my forum and enjoy what you find.  I’m an honest person who finds many things funny and I often have to lug my mind out of the gutter.

Diana currently resides in central Texas with her husband and son. When not focusing her energy on her family and her writing, she loves to travel and haunt bookstores. She's lived in several states across the south and midwest, as well as traveling to Mexico. With moving every year or changing schools since the fourth grade to her sophomore year, she learned reading was a fast escape. The freedom to read about anything and everything has fueled her adult imagination. She also enjoys romance, horses, and yes, still loves to read. She is a proud co-owner in Sweeter Romantic Notions, as well as a member of the writing resource forum Romance Divas.

Hello and welcome!  I'm Alison Chambers and I write romantic suspense for The Wild Rose Press.  My latest novel is called "The Secret Sentinel" and debuted in May.  For a blurb and excerpt, please visit my website

I was once Vice-President of an association management company in Wisconsin and have traveled extensively where I handled public relations, marketing and management.  I first started writing when I was a teenager, sparked by an interest in Nancy Drew books and a desire to tell a good story.  I like to keep my hero and heroine in dangerous situations against a backdrop of exotic settings, lost treasure and unsolved historical mysteries.  I have written six novels and besides writing, I enjoy reading (usually read 3 books a week, one romance, one non-fiction, one book on writing skills), playing piano and Green Bay Packers football.  But I want to know what you like!  As fellow readers and authors, tell me what's the biggest turn-on for you in a romance novel and the biggest turn-off?  What kinds of things make you either love or hate a story?  What makes a page-turner?  I hope to learn from you and have a fun discussion about our loves and hates in the romance world!

I began writing fiction seriously in 2003 and have written four novels (and started three others) since then. My first two science fiction novels (The Mars Imperative and The Tesserene Imperative) debuted in 2007. The third (Sunrise Destiny) has been sold and should appear in late 2008 or early 2009. The fourth (My Other Car is a Spaceship) is currently making the publishing rounds. I also write nonfiction and had a book on computer technology published in 1995, and I ghost-wrote three chapters of another nonfiction book about computers in 2005. I also write a regular column on writing and language for Mike's Writing Newsletter, as well as a blog on the subject. I love talking about science fiction/fantasy, computers, writing in general, and—of course—my novels. Please join me.

Keta Diablo writes erotic romance and gay fiction for multiple publishers; Ravenous Romance, Noble Romance, Phaze Publishing and Dark Roast Press. She lives in the Midwest, a very cold part of the country in the winter, but breathtakingly beautiful in the summer. Residing on six acres of beautiful woodland, she communes with owls, eagles and loons (the winged version) and often writes while overlooking an environmental lake on her property. The lake is named after a famous Native American Chief and the locals claim burial grounds exist in her woods. Perhaps it’s not always the wind she hears howling at night!

Sweet romance in the Middle Ages

Author Joyce DiPastena writes sweet medieval romances, sprinkled with generous doses of mystery and adventure. Her debut novel, Loyalty's Web, was a 2007 Whitney Award Finalist, while Illuminations of the Heart, published in 2009, won first place in Romance Writers of America's "Heart of the West Contest". Joyce loves all things medieval, but weaves the history of the era organically into her stories in a way that enhances, rather than detracts, from the romance and excitement between her pages.

If you love your romances sweet or medieval, come visit with Joyce here at Coffee Time!

Romance. Passion. Suspense.

Welcome to my coffee spot.

I started writing romantic fiction as a kid when I discovered Phyllis Whitney and Victoria Holt and fell in love with the romantic suspense genre.

I wrote my first novel as a pre-teen. It's tucked away in some drawer somewhere never to see the light of day.

An avid reader, I soon expanded my writing genres to include contemporary romance and romantic comedy.

They say when you're not looking for love, it finds you and when it needs to be heard, it finds the right person to become a messenger.  I believe I am one of its messengers.  Everyday I fall in love with love.  When I write romance short stories, I live and breathe all of its parts.  I want my readers to be completely immersed in its delicate embrace.  The words come to me like a thousand paper boats from people that are falling in love, folded with all their hopes, dreams, and wishes, and I try to interpret those feelings and show them what they would look like on paper.

I short stories and novellas.  All my stories are original full length romance fiction. I enjoy writing about romantic encounters, chance meetings, lost love, found love, intimate love, and inspirational love. My characters are derived from  my readers character requests,  people watching, business travel, vacation, magazines, and pure imagination.  When I'm writing I play music, environment sound CDs (storms, ocean, wind), and scented candles.

I a work on three to six romance short stories at one.  The ones I'm currently working on are:Executive Wife,Malibu Girl,Intimately Yours,Because of You, Connect my Dots, and The look in her Eyes. You can read the preview chapters on my author site

I began writing romance as a relaxation from a 24/7 career and found it an enjoyable escape, especially after winning first prize in two national competitions and a five book contract with an Australian publisher. Life beyond a professional career suddenly seemed possible, even when the publisher insisted I become Amy Gallow. Fourteen published stories later, Amy has written paranormal, historical and contemporary romance, plus magazine stories without me losing one iota of the zest that triggered the end of a professional career. A film rights contract for The Widow-Maker has grown into the shooting of a promotional trailer for the full length feature film and introduced me to both, the uncertainties of the Australian Film industry and a writer’s responsibilities to produce character breakdowns for casting of the actors. It is fascinating to see figments of imagination become living, breathing individuals—even if they look nothing like the mind pictures that drove their creation. It’s doing the rounds now, trying to drum up enough finance to shoot the whole film.

I signed the contract for my fifteenth story at the end of May and it will be the first one under my own name, opening up a whole new chapter in my writing.

Hi.  Welcome to the Coffee Corner of award winning, best selling (USA Today Bestseller List among others) author Samantha Gentry.  Come on in, grab a cup, kick off your shoes, and relax.  We can talk about whatever you'd like.

My reading tastes are eclectic.  I enjoy all sorts of books, both fiction and non-fiction.  However, I have to admit that once I started writing I found myself reading more non-fiction than fiction because of my research into various subjects.

My writing is a little more focused—erotic romance (contemporary and suspense), contemporary romance, romantic suspense, and mystery.  As time permits, I'm trying something new by working on a couple of paranormal stories.  In addition to my ebook releases written as Samantha Gentry, I also have a backlist of 21 novels published with Harlequin Intrigue and Silhouette Desire under my other pseudonym.  You'll find the list on my website.

On Sunday mornings I post a new blog and have several contests each year on my website (usually something to do with movie trivia).  Stop by and leave a comment on my blog about the current weekly subject and don't forget to enter my website contest.

It wasn’t until finishing university that Nicole looked upon writing as a possible career. Problems arose however when global amnesia in late October 2005 left her with no memory of her previous 25 years of life, and a need to relearn the basic skills most people take for granted. Since that date, she has been working on restoring her former skills as both writer and artist with the help of her partners Sam and Amanda, as well as her adoptive family of Sam’s parents and siblings. Nicole loves to hear from her readers and you can find her here

Nicole writes erotica and her latest work 'Summer of Fire' is published by Phaze.

When not writing Nicole paints and with her former memory was an internationally sold artist, and has in recent months begun to concentrate on her artwork more. As of a result she regularly offers her paintings up as prizes, information of which can be found in her monthly newsletter – feel free to sign up to it. I read, I edit and I write. That's my life. Well, apart from boating in beautiful British Columbia, and growing orchids and playing in the Caribbean surf in Costa Rica, my half-time home. I just can't quit because I love it all so much. My writing style has changed over the span of my career  from sweet and tender (because that's all they wanted way back when)  to hot and sexy, and now, in-your-face erotica, along with paranormal (no vampires or werewolves), and fantasy--that means things like sea serpents and genies.  But whatever it is, it's Romance with a capital R. Reviewers like to say my books are humorous, but that's never been my plan.  I think I just have a mildly twisted way of looking at life. Well, okay, maybe not "mildly', but that's probably a matter of opinion. I mean, why shouldn't a genie hide out in a plastic gas can drifting in the ocean when his bejeweled bottle gets broken, crashing into shore. He had to have a house, didn't he? Any old jerry-can in a storm...

Though most of my books have been print published, I believe electronic publishing is the future, and that the future is here, which is why I've been focusing on that medium exclusively for the past few years. Many of my print books have been rereleased, and my new ones are all electronic.

Who's up for a tailgate party, cuz I'm always around to shoot the breeze. Be forewarned though, I can get chatty when the subject gets interestin.' I love writing romance and delving into fantasy worlds, but I love even more talking to readers and other authors. Texas hospitality at its finest, so grab a cup of java and sit a spell. We'll weave a few yarns together.

About me? I was the 2006 best selling author for Champagne Books and I write science-fiction futuristic romances and historical westerns. Both genres fascinate me, and I love getting lost in the drama and romance. Check out my website; www.ciaragold.com

Eva wites fantasy and paranormal novels with a strong romantic element. Werewolf Sanctuary is Book 1 in her epic Wolf Maiden Chronicles, a paranormal romance series involving male alpha lycans and their human mates known as wolf maidens. Werewolf Sanctuary is a contemporary that will lead to all the other historical paranormal tales in the Wolf Maiden Chronicles. Book 2 in the series, Beast Warrior :Viking Werewolf, takes place during the Viking era. White Wolf of Avalon: Werewolf Knight will follow in Winter 2010. She loves to create stories that combine her passion for mythology, romance and werewolf lore. She also writes fantasy novels  and is in the process of finding a house to publish a trilogy and a stand-alone fantasy novel. Eva has a BS in Zoology and graduate studies in Biology. She has taught high school Biology, Environmental Science and Anatomy/Physiology. Her background in science and her passion for wildlife biology adds credibility to her writings. She also moonlights as a faculty member of the Grey School of Wizardry, an online school for kids and adults interested in magic and lore. A member of Romance Writers of America, Eva has also taught workshops on wolf lore and falconry for writer groups. Eva is a world traveler and loves visiting the places where her novels take place. Hi, I'm Cat Grant, writer of erotic romance. My first novel, an erotic tale featuring a m/m/f menage a trois entitled THE ARRANGEMENT, will be published May 5th, 2008, by Lyrical Press.

I've been writing off and on ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I've poked around in many different genres. I've written fan fiction, tried my hand at fantasy and horror, but in the end I came back to what I enjoy most - writing about the intimate relationships between men and women, and how love doesn't always happen the way we expect.

Check out my website and my blog for news about my upcoming projects.

Come Undone With Author Devon Gray

I am a writer of contemporary sensual romance. Sometimes dark, sometime humorous, but always steeped in emotion. I have always loved becoming lost in a great love story, from the turn of the first page to the bittersweet disappointment of reaching “the end”. Being given the opportunity to hopefully transport readers to the same “literary trance” is a privilege I am grateful for every day. I live down south, where it is hottern’ hell ya’ll, with my husband and two children. I love to hear from readers.

I'm an author of sexy, adventurous Historical Romances. I love to write about hot heroes and heroines who are a far cry from damsels in distress. I have a Civil War historical that's just released with The Wild Rose Press. In Destiny, Emma Davenport, a senator's daughter running off to a forbidden marriage is snatched off a train and held captive by a sexy, daring abductor. Jack Travis is a man with many secrets - and a passion for Emma that ignites the minute he carries her off the train. Destiny's sequel, Angel in My Arms, is due out later this year, and I'm writing a Victorian-era historical with another sexy, sensuous Alpha male. I'll post more about my books on the forums.

Kaily Hart, a seemingly straight-laced mother of four, left corporate America and a high-powered, lucrative career to be a stay at home mom. That lasted about four weeks, during which time she realized she had a deeply repressed dream to write— and romance at that! Who knew? By day, Kaily plays conservative wife and soccer mom, but at night crafts hot and steamy tales of romance and love with gorgeous heroes who wouldn’t dream of leaving the toilet seat up. Ever. She’s smart and sassy, at least in her own mind, and is trying her best to bring the alpha male solidly back to contemporary romance, one hot story at a time. Kaily bought her first book from Ellora’s Cave in 2003. Never in her wildest dreams did she think one day she’d join their ranks as an author or that she’d be writing erotic romance. But now that she is, it just feels so right.

Stop by and visit her blog. Kaily would love to hear from you.

Michelle's tastes are as varied as her stories, but her stories all have one thing in common - they fit in the paranormal romance category. While she loves vampires and other creatures of the night, she also writes stories with shifters of all kinds, fae, gods and goddess, ghosts, she even actually has a contemporary or two.

Michelle is an avid reader when she's not writing and gobbles up every paranormal romance she can find. If it has vampires, that's even better.

As a mother of four, she loves to chat with people over three feet tall, so don't ever hesitate to visit her or send her an email.

Hello. I’m Kate Hill and I love to read and write romance. If you’d like to know a little about me, my author bio is below. I love talking to other readers and writers, so please feel free to email me at any time or post questions and comments in this forum. Thank you!

What do trips around the world, endless nights of breathtaking sex, and a muscular, 6-foot 3-inch, brown-haired, blue-eyed significant other have to do with Kate Hill? Absolutely nothing, but she can dream, can't she? In reality Kate is a single, thirty-something vegetarian New Englander who loves writing romantic fantasies.

Currently, she might not be traveling around the world, but Kate has visited Europe and Africa and those beautiful places have been wonderful inspiration for her writing. While working at various times as a clerk, assistant karate instructor, house painter and banker, Kate dreamed of being an author. In 1996 her first short story was accepted for publication and since then she has sold over ninety short stories, novellas and novels.

Kate's stories, The Chieftain's Bride and Vampire Master, have won The Romance Studio's CAPA and in 2002 her vampire novel, The Immaculate, was nominated for a Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award.

When she's not working on her books, Kate enjoys reading, working out, and researching vampires and Viking history. You can visit her online here.

Sarah A. Hoyt writes science fiction, fantasy, historical fantasy, historical fiction and mystery, but truly all of them are romances.  Whether the love interest is a were-dragon, a bioengineered spaceship pilot with cat eyes or the man she refers to as Officer Hotstuff, he always has the main character's number.  Just as well the main character will make him work er... hard for it.  They emerge on the other side as better people and worthy of happiness.  (Mind you most of them start out with issues that have issues and come home dragging issues.)

A fan recently told Sarah that reading the samples on her web page was like the three faces of Eve.  Sarah hopes it's not quite that scary, but at any given time, her mind might skid from history to really hot were lions to -- oh, look, a bird -- vampire musketeers, to the latest news of the supernatural/strange.  She'll post news, events, contests AND the occasional snippet or story, published or unpublished.  The one things she's never been accused of is being boring.  (In fact, some of her teachers would have loved it if she WERE boring.  Now she thinks about it, her parents too.)  Come in and Carpe Diem*

*Latin, for Carps are noisy fish -- did we mention Sarah is chock full of culture?  You can tell because her posts have footnotes!

I was born in Dunnottar Castle in Grampian, Scotland, high upon the cliffs over looking the turbulent North Sea. And I was betrothed to my true love at the tender age of twelve. I remember the first time I saw him, riding across the plains upon his white charger, his armour shining brilliantly in the noonday sun...I swear, I feared my heart would leap out of my breast for the love he did instill in me...

(Insert record scratch here)

Okay, the truth of the matter is: reality sucks, and I'm a story teller and have been since the moment I could talk, according to my Dad. Whenever he caught me in a lie, I had no problem coming up with a dozen reasons why I painted the cat purple with green polk-a-dots, none of them true of course, but at least they were highly entertaining. It was at that time he knew I was destined for greatness... I would become a writer, a story teller who actually gets PAID to lie. What more could you possibly want in a career?

I LOVE history, and writing is my passion! To me there is nothing like knights in shining armour riding to the rescue of their beautiful, spirited damsels; of swashbuckling pirates stealing the women of their dreams; and devilishly handsome rogues fighting to the death for the lovely ladies who have unwittingly stolen their hardened hearts...

Welcome to Keta and Tara's fantasy realm.

Individually Keta Diablo has written and published a number of historical, paranormal and contemporary (male/male) romances. Keta writes for Noble Romance, Phaze Publishing, Ravenous Romance and the Dark Roast Press. She lives in the midwest portion of the country on six acres of beautiful woodland. The locals insist Native American burial grounds exist in her woods. Hmm. Perhaps it's not the wind she hears howling at night. . .

Ever since Tara Nichols was a little girl she has had an affinity for romantic adventures. With crushes on the likes of Tarzan and Hans Solo she grew up looking for the perfect gentleman rogue. When she is not writing about romance, or dabbling into the darker regions of erotica or paranormal fiction, she can be found tending her garden, keeping bees or reading a spy novel. Tara roams free on the flat prairie land in Manitoba Canada where she lives with her young son and husband."

Together Keta and Tara love to langish in Joaquin's Realm where they're busy creating a two-part series involving angels and demons.Yes, friends and fans, we walk between darkness and light, goodness and evil in Joaquin's Realm. Here you'll find ghouls, vampires, werewolves and demons and several sexy, drop-dead gorgeous alpha males intent in bringing them down.

We'd love to have you follow Joaquin's Realm, get to know our characters, and share with us your ideas about the continuation of the series. We hope to hear from you, so stop by and follow our adventures: http://joaquinsrealm.blogspot.com.

Where Ordinary Lives Change In A Heartbeat…

Awarding winning and 2009 RWA Golden Heart Finalist romantic suspense author Autumn Jordon loves to craft stories about small town heroines who courageously faces their foes.  Her hot heroes are not knights in shining armor but rather partners to her heroines in the couple’s fight against evil.  While Autumn’s tense plots revolve around finding and stopping the villain, her memorable characters display a such wide realm of emotions, including humor and steamy passion causing them to walk off the page.

Hi, I'm Gemini and I write contemporary erotic romance. I have three titles currently available and two in the wings. The best way to describe my characters? Aside from the villians, they are all people I'd like to hang out with. Friends I'd go grab a beer with, guys I wish existed when I was dating. (I'm married now so they are stuck in my imagination :)

Here's more.... "Gem's writing is sensual and softly erotic. Her characters fall in love on mountains and in trees. Smell the pines, feel the heat."

Please stop back and chat. I'll update you on books, have a contest or two, and celebrate life.

New York Times bestselling author Shirley Jump didn't have the willpower to diet nor the talent to master under-eye concealer, so she bowed out of a career in television and opted instead for a career where she could be paid to eat at her desk--writing. She started out in journalism, selling her first article at the age of eleven and dreaming of being the next Jane Pauley. Then she got married. And had two kids.

Humor became the only thing that got her through the mashed potato flingfests and toilet paper decorating sprees. At first, seeking revenge on her children for their grocery store tantrums, she sold embarrassing essays about her children to anthologies such as Chicken Soup for the Working Woman's Soul and Chocolate for Women II. However, it wasn't enough to feed her growing addiction to writing funny.

So she turned to the world of romance novels, where messes are (usually) cleaned up before The End and no one is calling anyone a doodoo head. In the worlds Shirley gets to create and control, children listen to their parents, husbands always remember holidays and housework is magically done by elves.

She sold her first book to Silhouette Romance in 2001. That novel, THE VIRGIN'S PROPOSAL, won the Booksellers' Best Award for Best Traditional Romance of 2003. RESCUED BY MR. RIGHT won the prestigious Holt Medallion in 2007, and "Twelve Days" won the More than Magic award for best Novella in 2007.

She found a way to combine all her favorite things in her recipes with her own romantic comedy series from Zebra Books, which launched in September 2004 with THE BRIDE WORE CHOCOLATE.  The fifth in that series, PRETTY BAD, was released in February in 2007. Today, Shirley writes 8 books a year and will see her 18th, 19th and 20th books come out at the end of 2007.

Though she's thrilled to see her books in stores around the world, Shirley mostly writes because it gives her an excuse to avoid cleaning the toilets and helps feed her shoe habit. Join her on Coffee Time Romance for fun, discussions about reading, writing, shopping, food--anything that lets Shirley find an excuse to avoid cleaning the toilets. Welcome to my world, where anything is possible. Whether my stories are dealing with humans, vampires, shape shifters, Fae… one thing is for certain belief in myth, magic, and love is a necessity.

There is something fascinating about a world where there are no limits to the imagination. The City of Las Vegas is often the seed of inspiration for my writing. When a city is steeped in controversy, holds a wealth of history, mystery, and romance, it’s bound to spark a few tales. It is a city that comes alive when the sun sinks into the west and the hum of pulsating neon lures the evil and lovely out of hiding.

For me, the biggest challenge is melding present day Las Vegas with the world my mind sees when my eyes close at night. My goal is to blur the lines between myth, fantasy, and romance to create stories that will capture your attention from page one.

Stick around for the journey, I promise not to bite…hard. Sláinte!

My novels are heavy in fantasy, heart squeezing, thigh-clenching romance, and even give a good chuckle every now and again.  I’m not a planner.  I don’t write with a set idea because no matter what I plan, the characters’ voices always come through and demand I listen to them. So, I gave up trying to fight it!

The journey as a writer all began when I was a teen and wrote poetry, which still to this day I pull out to have a good laugh.  Later on, I tried a couple of times to put a book together with no such luck.  Couldn’t ever get past the first few chapters.  But once I was exposed to the paranormal world, ideas came quickly.

At first, it was a way to keep my brain alive since being a stay at home mom can be a little let’s say―numbing. It was an escape from screaming kids, dirty diapers and plain old mom duty.  It started as a hobby, but as the stories progressed it became a passion. Now, I indulge at nap time, especially the juicy bits! Every mom needs a good thrill!

So here in Kitchener, Ontario, I am a thirty one year old wife, mom, house cleaner, cook, teacher, play-doh extraordinaire, swing pusher, toddler chaser after – who loves the outdoors, curling up with the latest flick, and if I’m not plugging away at a new novel, I’ve got my nose buried deep in a good book.  So there it is―my life!

Hello and welcome, my name is Mercedes Keyes and I write fictional interracial dramas - some call them romance. I work as a major part of a wonderful writing team. The other member of the team is my husband, Mr. Lawrence James. This is how our team effort goes in this soap drama world we've written. I get an idea for the next episode and I discuss it with him. We sit, sometimes for hours going through the story plot, working out how the characters would respond, which direction depending on their makeup things might head. Because he is the man in this team, his feeling is, be true to the way a man thinks, feels and responds on certain things, especially when it comes to the woman he loves, or the way he is with other women in general. While I blanch at some of the flowery language needed to fully round out the male characters, my husband has made it clear ... "You want my input, make the men true to the way they are!" Thus you have the make up of the men in this story. As the story goes, understand and accept that the men will not always appeal to the way we wish them to be, but they are all we have to work with - (smile) While the male characters can indeed be trying, selfish, demanding, domineering, over-bearing, controlling and yes, sexist ... Ladies, some of us love the challenge. Admittedly, the women - we can be a trip too. I have made the personality make up of the ones found in this soap as true as I've known many to be. Whether that be weak, or strong, victims, or victimizers, innocent, worldly, bossy, fluctuating mood swings, at times bitchy, longing and in love, tender and compassionate, flirtatious and lusty too. True as I feel those feelings to be, they will be found in the women I write about, and of course, the women in our online drama series, the Beauty of Man and Woman! We have worked hard to keep this drama and all our fiction material true to real-life - and oh what a ride you're in for! Our most dominant interracial combo exist between black women, with white males, and second to that combo, white women with black males. Please enter my group, check out the reviews, excerpts, short stories, or even better - my website!

I have always wanted to be a writer but didn't actually pursue that dream until a few years ago. My main goal is to put feelings into words. I want people to feel something when they read my books. I write paranormal, sci-fi, and fantasy romance.

On a more personal note I enjoy hairy chests, fangs and walks in the moonlight. HA. HA.

I write what I enjoy in the hopes that others will enjoy my stories as well.

Hello and welcome to my page!  Let me take a moment to introduce myself.  I am Dayana Knight, author of dark paranormal and crime suspense romance with an erotic edge. My heroes are hot, Alpha males whose beasts within run on the wild side and their woman know just how to tame them.

I was born and raised in Southern New Jersey but relocated to South Florida in the early 80's.

I have written in some form or other since age 11, but hadn't taken the craft seriously until the year 2000, when I wrote my first novel, Dancing on the Edge-a crime suspense novel published under a different pen name December, 2003 with ePress-Online, and is currently under consideration for contract with a new publishing house.

My latest release, Bestial Cravings, a companion short to my series, Roma Wolf Tales, has held the #1 spot on The Wild Rose Press's Paranormal best seller's list for over six weeks now. Included in this series is Book I, Curse of the Marhime  also available at The Wild Rose Press.

Also, available at TWRP's "wilder" side is Eternal Obsession, a paranormal erotic short.

I am currently working on Book II of The Roma Wolf Tales series and a sequel to my crime romance mentioned above.

I am open, casual and love to interact with my readers and peers. I am very excited and look forward to chatting with you all.  So don't be shy.  Pipe in, ask questions, give suggestions, tell me what you like and don't like.  A good writer is only as good as her readers think her:)

As Kim Rees she writes sensual contemporary romances, with hot alpha males and quietly strong heroines.  Oh, and angst. Angst is an absolute must.

And as Kim Knox she writes fantasy and sf with a twist of romance. She loves to play with myth and the past… but also take her characters into the far future. The heroine is more the focus in these stories
though the hero is, of course, effortlessly sexy.

So you get a choice, swirling emotion for her contemporaries or murder and magic for her sf stories.  Why not try both? *grin

Hi my name is Gwyn Lacy, I have published three stories with DCL publishing and one is waiting to be slotted for release. You will find excerpts and contests and also a work in progress. The WIP is a think tank for all of us. For writers, do you have a particular phrase or word you struggle with repeating? Do you want a think tank on all the gestures a body could make to communicate feelings (the words)? Please participate in this list and post a new one! If you share a phrase or a word, you are sharing! Lol. I don't think we have to worry--there are plenty of words and phrases out there! No excepts (except mine-lol). Please post writing and publishing tips and keep coming back! Pay it forward and no question is stupid in my corner.

Thanks to a family with an overabundance of imagination and a love for books of all kinds, I grew up learning the value of a good story. Early on, I realized writing was as essential to me as oxygen and recorded my first story at six and finished my first novel at twelve. Along with giving into my lifelong passion for storytelling, I work full-time and treasure motherhood while bringing up my son, daughter, and Cardigan Welsh Corgi.

Historic adventure, mystery and sensual passion.

My just released novel, The False Light, has it all.

Intricately researched, the era of the French Revolution sizzles around the story of a displaced countess who finds love, mystery and murder on the remote coast of North Cornwall. Countess Bettina Jonquiere must deliver an important package to further the royalist cause. In England, she discovers the package is full of blank papers, the address false and she’s penniless. Stranded in a Cornish village, Bettina toils in a bawdy tavern and falls in love with a man who his rumored to have murdered his unfaithful wife.

I enjoy traveling, especially to Cornwall where my story is set. I collect eggs, read, do book reviews, run two websites and most of all, love to tell stories.

I recently won the CTTR award from Coffee Time Romance.

Colleen Love has always lived in her own fantasy world. Writing Contemporary Paranormal and Fantasy romance came as a natural part of her existence. Even while playing as a child, her world was enchanted by the Fae. Weather it was exploring the wild wood around her home, or wandering the vast Pacific beaches, life always seems to hold her under its enchantment. Colleen's muse loves to be the creator of her own worlds with unusual and fantastic characters. She likes to explore and breathe new life into old legends and stories that have faded into time, or something beyond what is here and now, maybe something that may have existed at one time, but no one really knows for sure. Add in a few monsters, sprinkle in a bit of magic, a warrior and a woman strong enough to counter the balance and there is the perfect story for her. Colleen loves to spend time with her family and critters. She loves to garden and play in the dirt, work with horses and her other critters. She saves writing for rainy days, being from the Pacific Northwest she writes a lot!

Hello, I’m Hywela Lyn, although I’ve always been called Lyn and am quite happy to answer to that – it’s easier to pronounce than ‘Hywela’! I lived most of my life in Wales, where I was born and raised, and Welsh myths and legends inspired much of my writing. My stories usually take place in that ‘other world’ of fantasy which might be in the far past or the far future but which relies on the heroes and heroine's courage and quick wits to survive the trials before them.

From an early age I had two great loves – books and horses. Nothing has changed, only now I write the stories I love to read and have two real horses of my own, rather than the imaginary ones I had as a child. I love the idea of space travel and starships, but I also like the idea of a tranquil world with little technology and a simple lifestyle. By writing science fantasy I can have it both ways! Come join me for romance that’s ‘out of this world’.

As a neighbor to Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara, Miss Mae suggests you carry a ready fan in hand. Not to cool the blush of your cheeks as you devour her romance books, but to swat at those Jurassic Park blood-sucking mosquitoes when you’re fool enough to sit under the limbs of those Spanish-moss draped live oak trees!

Okay. Reality check. Maybe I used to live in the area of bygone southern plantation homes, but now I reside in northern Georgia where the Appalachian mountains stretch as far as the eye can see. In either locale, my laid-back country roots has shaped my way of thinking and instilled my Pure Southern Genteel style of writing.

There are a lot of romance books in the world and some really terrific romance authors. But I choose to be somewhat different. I situate my romances with a good mystery. It’s the circumstances of the mysteries that throw my hero and heroine together. Once ensnared in the evil plot I plunge them into (wicked laugh), they can’t help but see that by story’s end that…well, shucks, they actually like each other!

Nana’s love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen. She’s been in love with kick butt heroines ever since.

With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters. Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana, meantime works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is. Though, until that ninja job comes through, you’ll find her acting out scenes for hubby and puppy while catching up on her favorite reality television shows in sunny San Diego.

From the time Shelley Munro was a little girl living in New Zealand, she wanted to be a detective. She read all the Famous Five mysteries by Enid Blyton before graduating to Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. Her favorite television viewing was Scooby Doo where she, in her invisible guise, helped Scooby solve the crime.

As happens with children, Shelley grew up and boys distracted her from childhood dreams. She found a boy she really liked and married him, traveling the world at his side until returning to settle in New Zealand. She now spends her days writing hot and spicy paranormal and contemporary tales for Ellora’s Cave and Cerridwen Press, some of which contain the odd body or two.

Romancing the World, A Word at a Time!

My muse is a bit fickle. She walks around in denim capris and cut-off t-shirts. So her mood depends on what the saying on the T is for the day.

A few things you will always find in my books are sexy alpha males, flavorful culture, and exotic locals with a heroine you can't help but love. Regardless of how much you want the hero for yourself. I love to travel, enjoying meeting people, and need to keep on a constant growing curve. My works absolutely hint on those qualities.

A sensual read that can transport you to any part of the world is my goal.

Sheryl Nantus was born in Montreal, Canada and grew up in Toronto, Canada. A rabid reader almost from birth, she attended Sheridan College in Oakville, graduating in 1984 with a diploma in Media Arts Writing.

During her fifteen years of working in private security she was stationed at the United States Consulate in Toronto; various Consuls' residences as well as many hospitals in the Greater Toronto Area. Needless to say she saw a lot of interesting things and people from which she draws her characters and situations in her speculative fiction writing.

She met Martin Nantus through the online fanfiction community in 1993 and moved to the United States in 2000 in order to marry. A firm believer in the healing properties of peppermint and chai tea she continues to write short stories, poetry and novels while searching for the perfect cuppa.

I think I’d be in the majority if I said I like to see the good guys or girls come out on top, when I read a book or see a movie. Very few of us want to see the bully, the cheater, or the manipulator win. That’s one reason I love to read about people of faith who find the strength to overcome obstacles and defeat the odds against them. Sure, villains make the story more interesting, but should they win -- naw, not in my book. Speaking of books, I wanted my first romance to be in a romantic setting with a bit of suspense with a handsome, strong hero who wins over a headstrong woman who said she’d never date again after her fiancé, a no-good louse, broke her heart.

When I’m not writing or reading I like to swim, walk on the beach and visit with my friends and family. People watching can be fun too.

Greetings...I'm Eva Pasco, the Chick Lit Queen for Boomer Babes, confirming that love, passion, and adventure remain integral parts of a woman's life at any age.  Tired of reading stories exonerating women of financial means who forsook it all in the Second Act of Life to take up sky diving, mountain climbing, or seeking mysticism in Tibet,  I took a look around.  The women in my circle have commitments, obligations, and reservations about jumping outside the box.  Instead, we scrabble up the sides to peer over the edges.  That's when Carla Matteo stepped into my field of vision with all of her quirks, inhibitions, anxieties, and fears.  The seeds for my Romance/Women's Fiction novel, UNDERLYING NOTES,  were sown.

More than a cocktail for hot flashes and fluctuating libido, UNDERLYING NOTES is grounded in reality, littered with debris from the Sixties, and driven by Carla's fragrance addiction. The "juice" offers incentive for her to find her own niche during a midlife renaissance, while the ominous rose note in Paloma Picasso forces her to confront a troubled past.

If you like ‘Sweet’ Edge of Your Seat Romantic Suspense/Mysteries you’ve come to the right place.  Don’t let the ‘Sweet’ fool you, my books are far from boring.  My heroines are strong-willed, often very opinionated, ladies who usually wind up in a big mess of trouble and need a handsome man to come along and bail them out—though they’d never admit to needing the help.  As suspense junkie, my ultimate goal in every story is to have the reader so engrossed they're up all night reading.

The Danger...The Excitement...The Romance...

Enter the worlds of Regina Paul

Regina Paul has been writing most of her life, and only entered the hallowed halls of the "published" in July 2005 when her science fiction romance Getting Out Alive was released. To date she has one novel, and 3 novellas available

She has a rather interesting and eclectic set of hobbies, in addition to writing, she enjoys reading, creating 3D artwork, watercolors, and Native American beadwork. Her interests are many and varied, and include such things as anything related to the paranormal, alternative spiritualities, and Native American cultures. Her books reflect these different interests, and all of her books have at least one if not all of them woven throughout the stories. So, if you crave a little danger, excitement and romance mixed with the unusual then stop in and say hello!

Dark. Devious. Sensual, sinister and startling. These are the words used to describe the wild worlds of Stella and Audra Price. New to the literary scene, these up and coming talented writers are the next phase in literary evolution.Stella and Audra Price are sisters that write Urban Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, and paranormal erotic romance for Tease Publishing, Phaze and Siren Publishing. Their stories are fresh, imaginative and break the boundaries and social morays of the romance genre, while adding sizzle and new life into the urban fantasy realm. Writing in a number of other genres, they have proven that just because its dark and off the beaten path those who went before them have tramped, doesn't mean it has to be wrong. They are the award winning authors of the Eververse series, the Dragon Elementals series, the Duvall Inc. I was raised in Europe and moved to the Southwest a while back, where the romance of the desert called and keep me tight in it's embrace.
I write Paranormal romances that are steeped with European fantasy and ancient  fairytale realms and modern times, just enough to make anyone wonder what lurks beyond the realm of our own sanity.  Who would ever consider crossing paths with a vampire harboring a secret yearning for redemption? What of a ghost hunter that harbors a secret so deep and dark that even his television viewers haven't realized he's a centuries old gatherer of souls?
If paranormal isn't quite your thing, there's always the enchanting Dante, from My Lord Raven.  Can a man be haunted by dreams of a true love he's never met?

Stop by, visit with me...you don't know what you might find...

Writing is my passion. Since I like a variety of books, I write a variety. I have time-travel romances, historical romances and fantasy romances that are mostly historical. One of my time-travels is a contemporary with an 1886 gun-slinging heroine thrown into the present day. I also have a contemporary romantic suspense that received a highly sensual rating that thrilled me. I write romances that anyone can read and are not x-rated.

When I’m not writing romances, I write fantasy short stories that are set in the world of Augeas which is filled with magic and intrigue. I love the idea of magic and use it whenever I can. My newest release is a historical mystery. There is a romance in it, but the Dressed for Dying is more about the catching the killer.

If you like a story with love, suspense and maybe some paranormal aspects, drop by and check-out my stories.

My name is Jerry Race. I'm a writer as well as a reader.

In 2000 I became serious about writing and became a member of an online writers workshop & I'm still there. Each member helps the other to better their writing and I've learned a great deal from that workshop. I also belong to a couple of wonder yahoo groups. All members in each group help each other.

Anyway, I've gotten a couple of horror short stories sold. Plus I've completed my 1st novel MS and have an agent waiting for it. Plus I'm writing my 1st MM romantic erotica novel MS. Since  I like a lot of genre I'm dabbling in: horror, suspense, romantic suspense and maybe one day a comedy or even a mystery or two.

So, if you like what you see in my forum please let me know. I like good feedback. Don't we all..

Sara Reinke's mother will tell you she began writing stories almost from the moment she could toddle upright. Her debut fantasy, "Book of Days," from Double Dragon Publishing was named one of the top 10 sci-fi/fantasy titles of 2005 in the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll and a finalist in the Dream Realm Awards. She has followed up that success with four best-selling sequels to date. She parlayed a love of history into her writing, and in 2006, sold her first historical romance, "An Unexpected Engagement" to Medallion Press for February, 2007 release. A science-fiction thriller, "Tethers" is available in ebook from Samhain Publishing and will also be out in paperback in February, 2007. Sara has also explored other genres, and fallen in love with the world of vampires, psychics, shapeshifters and psychos that comprise paranormal romance. Her Kensington Publishing/Zebra debut, "Dark Thirst," about a vampire who longs to be human, will hit bookstore shelves in July, 2007. She is a wife and mother to a toddler, hates dusting, loves anything with carbohydrates and is on a personal quest to find the world’s best cheeseburger. Hello readers! I write erotic romance, often paranormal, although I throw in some contemporary as well. I’ve been writing as long as I can remember, and I’ve been a full time writer for the last few years. My books are red hot, and often include ménages. Expect some kink, some male/male sex in the context of the ménage, frank language, and a whole lot of sizzling sex. I love to include elements of magic in my stories, and my characters are often witches.

You can check out my website here and my blog here.

Judith Rochelle writes contemporary romance, mostly romantic suspense. I live in the Texas Hill Country, surrounded by hunky cowboys, gorgeous landscapes and an oversupply of alpha males. I live with my three cats, a herd of deer, a raccoon named Ralph and a pair of roadrunners named Katherine and Eugene. When I’m not writing I read, watch football and collect wine. My imagination never shuts off so if you see me out and about I’m usually being nosy about the people around me and scribbling in a journal I carry with me. Also, my friends laugh because a lot of my ideas come to me in the shower. I should probably spend more time in there.

I was born in England, in a peaceful Lancashire village. I have always loved reading, but didn't discover romance books until I started working in a library. There, I managed to work my through all the romance section in amazingly quick time.I have an addiction to celebrity magazines, handbags and The Bold and the Beautiful. I began writing in 2006 and haven't stopped since. I love variety and have written F/F, M/F and M/M/F in my time as an author. I love creating characters who can provoke the imagination of my readers and also pull at their heart strings.

Endless Passion, Timeless Romance.

Amy discovered her love of the written word when she realized that she could no longer act out the fantastical romances in her head with her dolls. Writing about delicious heroes was much more fun than playing with plastic men dolls with the inevitable flesh-colored tighty-whities.

She loves history, the paranormal, science fiction, urban fantasy and will spew out historical facts like a volcano, much to her dearest hubby's chagrin.

When she's not thinking about the next sensual romp, she's chasing after three rug rats and reading anything spicy she can get her hands on.

I love to hear from readers. Leave a message, a thought, recipe whatever! You can find out more about me and my upcoming books on my website.

Whether we're falling in love or trying to say in love, love is a mystery.  Recovering from a broken heart, building trust, miscommunication, speculation, or emotional walls that we place around ourselves are just a few of the barriers within a relationship.  We don't always have to be facing or running from danger to be within a mystery (though there is that.)

Love always has some type of mystery to weed through in order to get to the good stuff.  I love romance and mystery, so I combined them to create a happily-ever-after for anyone who picks up an Emma Sanders' book.  Join me here to find out more about me and my books!

Author of erotic romantic fiction and cover artist for Black Velvet Seductions.  I have worked with BVS for some time and I enjoy the way things work there; there is very much a family feel.  My writing is a bit on the steamy side but it is the emotional content that drives my characters.   My aim is to get a deep point of view with my characters, let the readers really get inside the story and hopefully empathise with the people involved.  I always value feedback from readers and other authors and I am always happy to chat and share thoughts on writing and art.

Ericka Scott is first and foremost a reader. She'll read almost anything, including the back of cereal boxes in a pinch! She began reading romance and romantic suspense during college when reading anything but a textbook was a guilty pleasure. Now, when she’s not reading, camping, or wishing she had a maid, she’s spinning webs of fantasy and penning tales of seductive suspense. She currently lives in the high desert of Southern California with her husband and three active children (who think she is the maid).

Newflash!  Paisley has a split-personality!  *Gasp!*  It's true.  Paisley Scott is the author of sizzling erotic romances whose stories are verrrrra sexy and graphic.  Her alter-ego is Leslie Ann Dennis, author of spicy contemporary romances.  They happily coexist to write about characters most of us can identify with.  Humor is a strong element in their books (although not when the hero and heroine are in bed -- LOL!  At least they hope no one laughs at those parts!  *giggle*).  They live in the south where they share one wonderful hubby (*snicker*) and three silly dogs.

Hi Readers! Welcome to my Author’s Corner at Coffee Time Romance!

I’ve been writing romances for over twenty years. During that time, I’ve written and had published 13 historical romance novels.  My stories have been set on ships during Viking times, ranches in the Old West, forts during Fur Trade times, villages in Indian territory, and in caves during prehistoric times.

I am very happy to announce that I’ve placed several of my historical romances (previously print published) with two highly respected epublishers: The Wild Rose Press and Red Rose Publishing  Please watch this space for announcements of when my ebooks will be released at various times over the next year or so.

Lately, I’ve turned my hand to writing contemporary women’s stories and hope to release some of those stories soon as well.  My foray into writing contemporaries has been surprising to say the least. Surprising because I didn’t realize how quickly things can change in a story. For example, I’d give a character a flip open cell phone and a year or two later I’d have to update it in the story just to keep up with our society’s changes in technology. Compare that to, say, Vikings who for centuries could only shout in the wind on the deck of a tossing ship to communicate with one another. Much simpler times!  J

Because the book world is changing so quickly, I’m making changes as to how I connect with my readers. I am anticipating that Coffee Time Romance will be an important website for my blogging and for staying in touch with my readers.  I also have a FB page, as well as a MySpace page. Besides Coffee Time Romance, the other best way to get hold of me is to contact me via Theresa Scott's Website

Let the reading begin!

"Life is not about the moments we breathe, but the moments that take our breath away" Stories that leave you breathless . . . Janice Seagraves

Janice Seagraves grew up in a small California town, and married just out of high school. The writing bug hit her late at around twenty. Her art always drew her away from the characters in her head, but after being diagnosed with tendonitis she found doing art work painful. But she could still type, and she at last turned her full attention to writing.
She’s still lives in the same small town where she was born and grew up. Her home is a hundred year old haunted house (I’m not kidding), where she lives with her husband and daughter, three cats and a pet pigeon that is in love with her husband (also not kidding).

She write mostly romances anything from short stories to novel sized manuscripts. They’re sweet to spicy romance, or erotic. Just a few years in the future or soft science fiction. Also some contemporary.

Her first book, Windswept Shores, is contemporary romance. A survivors tale. Available June from Pink Petal Books.

Otherworldly Tales. That's probably the best way to describe the stories I love to write. My muse doesn't like genre restrictions, but I mainly write urban fantasy, paranormal, and Sci-Fi tales with a dark edge. I also don't shy away from horror stories, because I love zombies.

I live in Sydney, Australia with my husband, daughter, and cat. I spend every available moment I have writing. And when I'm not writing, I'm usually thinking about it. Although, I do love to go for walks, enjoy watching good movies, and TV shows. I'm also a huge reader and love collecting books.

Oh, and I love to chat, so feel free to drop in any time!

Although I’ve lately been enthralled by creating paranormal fiction with varying levels of sensuality, my work as a whole spans a wide range of genres. It's currently and/or soon to be published by Ellora's Cave, Cerridwen Press, Samhain Publishing, Double Dragon Publishing, and MojoCastle Press.

Some day, when I allow myself to take the time and make the effort, I'd like to secure an agent and break into the wild 'n' woolly world of "da big dogz" in New York. Right now, though, I'm just too focused on my writing.

Welcome to my little corner of cyberspace.

Creating characters and developing stories is something that I love to do. It brings me joy. Sharing those stories, knowing that my characters are capturing the imagination of others? Well, that's even a greater thrill.

I was first published in 2005 and in 2007 was able to leave what I used to call my “real life” job to pursue writing and working in the publishing industry full-time. The years that I spent working in the psychiatric field definitely influences my writing, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to my characters and their stories.

I currently live in Southern California with my husband of seventeen years, my fourteen-year-old son, and my cocker spaniel, Buck. My husband is a social worker who works with abused children. He’s an avid sailor who loves to surf, and you’ll find bits of him in every hero that I’ve ever written. My son is wonderfully sensitive, with a sarcastic sense of humor. He plays piano, composes his own music, is a competitive fencer, and worships video games.

I’ve written in a variety of romance sub-genres including romantic suspense, contemporary, historical, and paranormal. For the past two years I’ve been immersed in the writing of my Forbidden urban fantasy series, which USA Today Best Selling Author Kelley Armstrong says is, "A steamy romance with the perfect mix of drama and humor."

The series offers what I think of as a fresh new twist on the classic vampire tale of seduction. It has a heroine that you’ll envy and a hero that you’ll find yourself wanting to spend eternity with. Have I tempted you yet? Good. As my hero Byron Renfield would say, “Sometimes, temptation can be a good thing.”

Come step inside my imagination…

Recipe for a good romance:  Dollop of humor, smidge of sarcasm, a dash of spice and turn up the heat!

Seems like I’ve been writing since forever.  I penned my first book at the age of 10.  It was an “epic fantasy” and included all the kids in the neighborhood as knights and ladies fair.  Since that time, I haven’t stopped and I’m excited to be able to share my worlds and casts of characters with you.

Come in and talk books, writing, recipes and a little bit of everything with me!

While Kaye is drawn to cowboys of the Old West, all romance genres are within her sphere of story crafting. Kaye has followed the rodeo circuit, raced thoroughbred horses, herded cattle across the prairie, broken horses to ride, worked as a school psychologist, teacher, and school administrator. She abandoned her full-time career as a public school administrator for the exotic and exciting life as a romance novelist.

An erotic romance author who loves an Alpha male (or two)

Jeanne is an erotic romance author who loves to write about an Alpha male. Especially one in uniform: cops, Feds, or even football players! She started telling tales when she was 13 years old. She resides in south central Pennsylvania near Hershey chocolate and the Amish. She's a HUGE Steelers fan!

Her hot and steamy contemporary romances can include a male/female, a menage (male/male/female) or male/male relationship. It depends on what's floating her boat at the moment.

So, grab a cup of coffee, pop in and poke around her forum a bit. Don't forget to say hi!

Experience the romance and elegance of Regency and Gerorgian England with books by Hazel Statham.

In my books you will experience humor pathos and sometimes danger but always there is love.  In my world of historical romanceI love to create characters my readers can truly care about.  I started writing at the age of 15 (many many moons ago).  I don't know what made me start to write only that it was a compulsion I couldn't ignore and that compulsion remains with me today.  I hope you enjoy reading my books about these fascinating eras as much as I enjoy writing about them.

The idea of magical abilities had always fascinated me, starting with King Arthur and Merlin. Eight books in my Druid series deal with the fairly modern people who have inherited Druid powers, and how they use their powers to help the good guy (or gal) and defeat the villain. Have started a new series about Mages, hoping to title it the Magical Mages. Few know what a mage is, so I start the first book, Damien's Destiny, with an explanation of the word. Merlin was a mage. and the sexy cover  and excerpt for Damien's Destiny is on my website.

The lure of magic is still strong. Love to answer questions or just chat about Druids and Mages. Let's chat!!!!  Do you believe abilities can be inherited?

My debut novel, Turning the Tide, is published by Choc Lit, ‘where heroes are like chocolate – irresistible!’  Winning a tin of chocolate in a national essay competition at primary school inspired me to become a writer, so being published by Choc Lit is something of a dream come true!

Setting off, with my husband, from the east coast in a vintage wooden boat to sail halfway round Britain provided the initial inspiration for Turning the Tide.  The sleepy backwaters, quiet anchorages and picturesque harbours, not to mention the characters we met along the way, gave me plenty more to write about!

A paranormal romance author with a penchant for sexy fairies with attitude, Helen likes to set her books in mysterious places. She lives in the English West Country and loves days out visiting the historic houses and gardens in the region. Come join me in discussions on everything Paranormal Romance has to offer! I love discussing what books you've read and what your opinions are. I'll also keep you updated on my own Books, and you'll be the first to know about any Contests, or Goodies. Although I write VERY HOT and STEAMY books, I don't consider it Erotica, so please be aware of that if your interest in books are only in that genre. SO! I say: bring on the Ghoulies, and Ghosties, and Long-Legged Beasties, AND all those SEXY Shapeshifters and vampires, demons and angels, and lets have fun talking about them!  HAPPY READING!

Author of Fantasy and Paranormal Romance. Explore new worlds.

Rachel prefers the darker side of fiction, though she’ll write anything that captures her muses’ attention. All her stories contain elements of romance, and can sometimes delve into the erotica side. She has an affinity for demons, vampires, and even ghosts.

Her first two books are both available through Purple Sword Publications, and involve tortured demons looking for redemption. Step into her world...if you dare.

Open your eyes to a night sky full of star dust, and become aware that you are no longer on Earth.  Stare at your clawed fingers, and realize that you are not human.  Explore life from an alien perspective through my Blade Dancer series, or find out why your race abandoned you in Waiting Weapon.  I write character-driven science fiction, where what counts is as much in your heart as in your head.  My heroes are very human, even when they are not human at all.  My stories include the friends and family that are often missing with main characters.  I pull in the richness of alien worlds and cultures to provide an escape you can believe in.  Welcome to science fiction with a personal touch.  You know you want to.

If you’re looking for that “different” edge, the exotic point of view of a foreigner, the thrill without the burden of conventions, the sex without necessarily the soppy romance, the erotic book with intelligent and meaningful contents, but mostly if you’re interested in learning about people and their relationships, Laura Tolomei is your author. Whether fantasy, contemporary or historical, her paranormal and world traveling twists will capture with her Italian style, elegance and sensuality, which goes beyond mere writing. If you ever looked for a place to chat not just about me, myself and I or my books, but about music, movies, traveling, cats and just life in general, join Author Laura Tolomei and her group.

Under my own name of Jane Toombs I write in multiple genres (all except men action's and erotica).  But my favorite genre is paranormal suspense romance. Also I am a cat person.  I truly enjoy interacting with readers and other authors, especially since I'm living in an obscure little corner of the USA and it's miles and miles to anywhere else so the Internet is a mind-saver.

I write Erotic Romance or Romantica (trademark) for Ellora's Cave. My first e-book, Leather and Lace is marketed as a contemporary story but crosses over into the romantic suspense genre, which I love. Please join me to discuss my book or anything else you'd like to talk about. I'd also love to hear from other authors who are thinking about entering into this field. It's honestly incredible to have the freedom to allow your characters to take over and throw the rules out the window. To delve deeply into their relationship and allow them all the freedoms and inner discovery of a fulfilling, wild sexual relationship. It's hot, hot, hot! Visit my web site!

Paige Tyler is a full-time, multi-published, award-winning writer of erotic romance. She and her research assistant (otherwise known as her husband!) live on the beautiful Florida coast with their easy going dog and their lazy, I-refuse-to-get-off-the-couch-for-anything-but-food cat. When not working on her latest book, Paige enjoys reading, jogging, doing Pilates, going to the beach, watching Pro football, and vacationing with her husband at Disney. She loves writing about strong, sexy, alpha males and the feisty, independent women who fall for them. From verbal foreplay to sexual heat, her wickedly hot stories of romance, adventure, passion and true love will bring a blush to your cheeks and leave you breathlessly panting for more!

Look for her stories at Ellora's Cave, Whiskey Creek Press Torrid and Blushing Books.

I love writing romantic suspense because it throws the hunky hero and intrepid heroine together under extraordinary circumstances and pits them against a clever villain. Although some of my books are set in the state of Maine, where I live, I write about more exotic settings as well, such as a sultry Caribbean island and romantic Italy. Reviewers have called my stories fast-paced, thrilling, action-packed, sizzling, and highly emotional.

My books have received the Golden Leaf and Laurie awards and finaled in the Bookseller's Best and the Daphne. My most recent book, Deadly Memories, was a 2006 Romantic Times Magazine Top Pick and Reviewer's Choice Award nominee. I live with my husband on the coast of Maine. A former teacher, I enjoy curling up with a good book, gardening, walking the dog, sailing (if the day is sunny and the wind light), and hiking (if the trail is moderate). Look for my next release, Primal Obsession, due out in late 2008. Please visit my website to read excerpts and enter my contest.

I love to "chat" with readers and fellow writers. Let's get acquainted. I love to talk about writing and books, romance and romantic suspense.

When you need a little paranormal in your romance.

Welcome to my forum! Grab a latte and come chat a while.  I write paranormal romantic suspense. There’s nothing I enjoy more then a good book filled witches, psychics, werewolves, or vampires facing a life or death situation. However, I also enjoy a good male/male erotic romance and I’m currently working on a m/m vampire story.  If you enjoy these books too come on in and get comfortable. For more info visit my website.

If you like accurate historical romances without compromising steamy intimate scenes between vivid and addicting characters, then you've come to the right place. Renee Vincent is a highly energetic author, whose traits are naturally transformed into her writing of face-paced, action-filled, plot-twisting epics in the tumultuous time period of 10th Century.

Her passions include Norse and Irish history, horses, and irresistible, brawny warrior heroes. RÆLIKSEN, her first historical romance that debuted in Dec. 2008, is jam packed with those and more. The sequel, MAC LIAM, due to release in 2010, will not disappoints either, as a love triangle - initially mentioned in RÆLIKSEN - will unfold and completely tantalize.

Come with me to a different place and time...

Greetings from the Heart of Texas where I live with my journalist husband and two dogs—Jolie Blon, a spoiled Cajun poodle; and Mardi Gras, a retired pet therapy dog.

Here in Texas, lots of things really are larger than life, including some of my characters, but what better setting for romantic comedy? We may be big, but we also know how to laugh at ourselves.

My first published novel Dog Nanny—a 2008 Linda Howard Award of Excellence finalist—is set for release in June from The Wild Rose Press. Can a vet tech train two wayward poodles, while harnessing her desire for a handsome pilot? I hope you’ll read it to find out!

To read an excerpt or for more information and the latest news on contests, blogs, and more, check out my Web site. And while you’re there, I’d love to hear from you.

After writing short stories for years and having several published and win contests, I turned to writing novels. My contemporary romantic novels usually involve women who have been racking up experiences looking for that perfect life style to suit their adventurous nature. These adventures could be of the heart or otherwise, but they’re out to discover what life can offer. Love and romance are always part of the brew.

As a newly published author, I’m excited to have you get to know me and my stories. 2010 will see the publication of my first full length novel while I busily write the next four I have percolating in my head.

Minnesota is my home. I fell in love with this nature wonderland when I moved here seventeen years ago. I am blessed with creative soul mates. My husband is an excellent photographer. Although not working in the field anymore, his creations hang on our walls. My son is a singer/song writer with talent unending. He lives in a far off town in the west, among the pines, and my husband and I love to visit him. My dog, Rusty, creates joy. He is the smartest dog in the world.

Please drop me a note or question. And you can also visit me at my web site, and on my FaceBook page.

When she was little, Anita Whiting would spend hours reading. It didn’t matter whether it was in the bathtub, in a car or huddled under the covers with a nightlight after her mother thought she was in bed. By the time she was in the sixth grade, she was trying her hand at poetry and short stories some of which were published in the school newspapers. However, it was only after raising three children and working as an obstetrical nurse for years that she finally tried her hand at a full length novel. It went so well that she wrote another and another. Nothing pleases her more than reading a good book and she hopes you feel the same about hers.

Science Fiction Erotic Romance author and creator of the P.I.A.C.T Undercover agent series -- S.J's future worlds and societies are so real you'll forget, while reading, that interstellar space travel doesn't exist. S.J.'s character driven universe is as tough and variable as the people who inhabit it, characters who live and love as hard as the cold vacuum of the space which houses them.

The depth of descriptive detail and personality within the P.I.A.C.T. series has reviewers describing the novels as "emotionally intense and romantic" and to hail them as a "definite keeper." Searing novels that are "so sensual that your partner should be within reach," and so realistic they'd "have given Gene Roddenberry a run for his money."

If you like your romance to be an unforgettable adventure, full of new and strange worlds, then come along and see what P.I.A.C.T is all about. If you need your heroes and heroines to be gritty, real life people who deal with life's disasters and love so deeply they are willing to die for it, then S.J's novels should be more than enough to satisfy your desires -- completely.

A writer of fantasy, I’ve written several novels.  I enjoy the magical side of life and love what it can add to romance.  Though my life began in Tampa, Florida, I've lived all over the United States and even spent some time in England.  Sure do miss the fish and chips.

I started writing in my youth when my vivid dreams stayed with me long after I had them.  The people and worlds were so amazing and detailed it was like I knew them inside and out.  You can meet them in my books.  They're alive there now, learning, loving, and experiencing everything they deserve.

I’m the mother of two children, a bird, a cat, and a rag-mop dog.  All-in-all, I love my life.  It affords me the opportunity to do what I love.  Spend time with my family and write, write, write.  Come on in and visit.  I’d love to hear from you!

What Would You Wish For?

...it's what I write about and what I would love to know about you. My novels all involve genies, and wishing is a key ingredient.  My Shadow of Esagil series is published by Sapphire Blue Publishing and follows the misty trail of genie Ashura-Goreem...Ash to his friends.  The Third Wish is the first book in that series and is a bestseller at All Romance eBooks.  The Genie's Curse takes you back to Ash's roots in the time of Solomon.  In Angels & Genies - selected by ARe as part of their 28 Days of Heart Campaign - you'll get to meet Match, one of the warrior jinn and a gentleman.  And the genie who started it all is Zubis.  Cursed and captivating, Zubis navigates the 21st century with ferocity, integrity, and passion.  You'll find him in Zubis Rises, a winner in the 2008 Next Generation Indie Book Awards.

Please be a part of this magical space...stop in and share your questions, thoughts, and hopes.  There are more genie books to materialize and many more wishes to make.... What Would You Wish For?

This group is composed of those who write, and created for those who enjoy reading sweet G-rated romance stories -- the kind our mothers/grandmothers recall reading. We take the reader through tender, heartwarming romance leaving them uplifted and inspired. Plain and simple, it's Jane Austen style writing--just clean, pure, and undefiled love between a man and woman.

We have mystery, intrigue, suspense, humor, etc. but no homosexuality, shapeshifting/vampires/wizards. No erotic or sensual writing found here. We have only one heat rating -- Sweet. And we mean it!

Whimsical Publications is located in Central Florida, and is registered as a Limited Liability Company in that state. The company’s fiction line specializes in
Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Mystery, Suspense, Romance, Young adult and some Poetry. Other genre will be added at the discretion of the publisher.

Authors who submit to WP can rest assured that they will never have to pay to have their works published. Not for the editing, nor for the cover design. We are a royalty paying publisher, not a subsidy publisher. We make our money through the sale of books, not through services the author pays.

As a small, independent publisher, we take the time to work with our authors. They are an important part of the publishing process and are included throughout. From the designing of their covers to keeping their "voice" during the editing process, without the author, WP would not be here, and we realize
that.

A limited number of quality titles are added each year. Our novels may not be on the New York Times bestsellers list, but our authors write with heart and soul. Check out their information pages. You might just find a new author to follow.
