Coffee Time Romance & More

I’m a retired NYCity employee who’s been married for twenty years sans children.  While “I Kissed a Ghost”, a YA [Young Adult] Paranormal/Time Travel/First Kiss romance, is my first self-published romance endeavor it not the first I’ve tried to write. Prior to writing it, I’d tried my hand, without much success to write an adult Contemporary romance novel; that is until someone suggested I write for a younger audience. With my first romance novel under my belt and the experience I’d gained, I returned to the one I neglected to finish. As of now, I’m about 95% finish writing it, it’s now entitled “His Darkest Secret” and has a paranormal element running through parts of the storyline.
In addition, I’m also endeavoring to write a NA [New Adult] Contemporary romance entitled “It Had All Been a Game.” And lastly, I’ve also begun to write YA Urban Fantasy, with a working title of “The Secret in the Well,” which will be a sequel to my first novel.

Outside of the romance genre since January 2012 I’ve begun to write Flash Fiction, usually in response to the prompt word given by Lillie McFerrin on her Five Sentence Fiction site each week. Seven of the ones I’ve written, with a little tweaking, are now scheduled to be published in a fund raising anthology of short stories with HIV/AIDS as one of its themes.

I’ve got a blog at here and here.  You can connect with me on Twitter, FaceBook, GoodReads, and LinkedIn.
