I was born and raised in Boise Idaho. Go potatoes! (just kidding) I lived in Boise until June of 1999, when I married my current husband and moved to Oceanside Ca. In 2002 I moved to Chicopee MA. In 2005 I moved to Okinawa Japan, and it’s where I still am today. Well I call it a temporary situation. To me everything is temporary if we are talking in 3 year increments. I have 3 daughters. The eldest is 16, the middle one is 14 and my youngest is 6. If you don’t feel like doing the math my husband and I have been married 8 years this June. I am a stay at home mom, and my husband is a U.S. Marine. We are crossing all of our fingers and hoping he will get selected for promotion this year. Yeah! If promoted he’ll be a Gunnery sergeant. My older daughters are learning Japanese and honestly blow me away every time they speak the language because I have only managed to pick up just enough words to be polite or sound like a 2 year old. *laughs*
Ok so about me. I love to read, and honestly my love of reading is how I got my chance to work for CTR. Most of my friends give me a hard time about my favorite books, but I can say I am the one laughing now. Suddenly my friends are jealous and wish they had my opportunity. I also love watching movies, and since I live in Japan, and T.V. watching/Movie watching is limited I buy a lot of DVD’s. I think for most of us American’s over here we have a very good relationship with Amazon, and Barns and Noble. Well at least I know I do. I am a shop a holic, and since moving here I have become really great at on line shopping. I also love spending time with my family. My children and my husband are the most important things in life to me. Oh and my dog Princess. Hey the 6 year old named her what can I say. Well that’s me in the short and simple.
