Broken Shine left me speechless. It left me with a jumble of emotions and is truly the best white knight story I have ever read. Candice Gilmer provides the perfect mix of good and bad in one man that leaves the reader with no words. By the time I read the last sentence I had truly felt every emotion that one could experience; from pride, envy, love, despair, to joy. I was truly sad to see the story end and immediately flipped back to the first page to read it all again because nothing could be so good the second time around. Broken Shine and Candice Gilmer will leave you astounded at the talent and creativity used to tell a story as old as time and will leave you wanting to read it over and over.

Another excellent Aston West Tale from Mr. Hunter. Aston is a complex type of guy who usually has too close a relationship with both the bottle and his onboard computer. The twins are a twisted and vicious pair, which comes across clearly from the first time you meet them. I would recommend this space tale to any sci-fi fans.

From the first few pages, Ms. Ridley had me within her clasp as her gripping and chilling novel took me from my own home into a story full of suspense, mystery, passion, mayhem, and a setting full of secret tunnels and deceptive characters. Too Wicked To Kiss shows us how one woman running from her own torturous home is thrust into the lives of people surrounded by a past just as dark and deadly as her own. I found myself comparing the dark and enigmatic Gavin to a certain brooding man in another classic gothic novel, Jane Eyre. I absolutely adored Evangeline’s quick wit, unguarded passion, strong nature, and even the cursed gift that allows her to see into someone’s memories with a simple touch. As the passion and storyline unfolds, the reader will find themselves questioning who the murderer is until the very end…when all will be revealed.

Whew! Wicked City is one very hot and sexy read! Ms. Kitts starts off with a bang and just keeps on going until you read the very last page. I loved it! I especially love how all of the main characters interact with each other, how close the friendships are, and even though they may not be in love with each other, how there is still love there. That, for me, made this story a true keeper. The world building is stellar and in some respects reminds me of the Underworld movies — only this book was even better. The sex of course is positively scalding, but in a really wonderful erotic and emotional way. I will definitely be buying more of this author’s books, and I highly recommend that you do so as well!

I have to admit the emotions are threefold in A Piece of My Heart. When Mick and Kate ache to be with each other, I could practically see it in their eyes and hear it in their voice. The way they try to hold their control intact is so beautifully penned. I love the part about the circle, and the place they shared. Kemberlee Shortland creates a stunning read that touches upon the heartstrings. The storytelling is at its best. The descriptions are marvelously crafted and the characters absolutely lifelike. With emotions turning faster than a roller coaster, she allows the reader to visualize parts of Ireland with romance and a bit of suspense along the way.

Cynthia graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Alabama where she studied Sociology (because people interest her) and Communication (because she likes to write about said people). She worked as a journalist on her university’s paper (yes, she’s admitted to a not-so-secret desire to be Lois Lane). Later, as she traveled the long and bumpy road to romance publication, Cynthia was employed as a college counselor and as a teacher.

Eternal Hunger starts off with a powerful momentum that carries throughout the novel, keeping the reader hungry for more. Cynthia Eden takes her book to the edge and beyond with the intensity of a first-rate, action-packed tale that is so sexually charged, I felt like I was going to self-combust as I read the heat filled moments. Jude is such a strong alpha male that you cannot help but fall for him, as he is the perfect hero for a strong heroine. Erin, who has always been told she is weak, is such an amazingly strong woman that when you read the way she not only survives but comes to save the day, you cannot help but smile and thrust your fist in the air and shout “you go girl!” A must read novel, one that I will be reading over and over again for years to come and I definitely hope to see more characters from this amazing author in the future!

The Sheriff’s Surrender is a remarkable story. I believe the love that binds Gert and Ethan together is truly extraordinary. I like the bit of shyness Ethan projects, especially when he is around Gert. He reminds me of the timid cowboy like Tom Selleck sometimes plays in his movies when he is around the female gender. Truly magnificent; I liked that part about Ethan. To me it made him appear human in every respect. Susan Page Davis has woven a terrific story touching the heart of this reader. Immediately she pulls the reader into a town with many acquaintances blending together an impressive read.

Let Darkness Come is one tale that will keep you reading and guessing until the very end. Angela Hunt has written a very gripping novel, one that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved how Erin and Briley became each others’ support systems in different ways, which connects the reader and brings them deeper into the storyline. The different sensations that poured out of this book were amazing and had me on an emotional roller coaster and biting my nails to the quick. The world building in all the books is par excellence, but in this last one, the author truly outdid herself, giving the reader a wonderful look into vampire culture. The suspense, as always, kept me on the edge of my seat and reading long into the night to find out what was going to happen. She also did a fantastic job of tying up all the loose ends, leaving this reader feeling very satisfied. This is the final story in Ms Roux’s sub/dom trilogy and shows a great deal of knowledge about the BDSM lifestyle. With rich and vibrant characters and a wealth of emotions, this story flows, twists, and turns as Delilah learns to understand her feelings and how her actions effect others. As the highest dominant in their small community, Gabriel commands the respect and obedience of all the other members regardless of their role. Although I am new to Ms Roux’s work, I can guarantee this will not be the last of her books I read.

One Week in December is a heartfelt story of the struggles that Becca goes through as she contemplates tearing her family apart. Ms. Chamberlin writes with unimaginable talent, enough so that each angry feeling and hurtful plea that fell from Becca’s lips had me wanting to rave against all those who have done her wrong. Unbelievably, as the character’s feelings of betrayal turned into something else, and the revelations began to unfold within her mind, I found myself just as easily accepting what was going on within the novel. This outstanding book will pull you into the storyline and have you feeling as if you have been sucker punched as each emotion and event unfurls within the pages. A must read book for all!

I have to say I adored A Hearing Heart. Catherine and Jim are sweet enduring characters showing a great deal of compassion and love. They have a way of using direct eye-contact that permitted this reader to visualize their many actions. The secondary characters were awesome, coming into play well. Bonnie Dee fashions a poignant story that moved this reader beyond words. She shows how two people, who are thrown up against many obstacles, can find the one thing in life, most important, to overcome any hurdle that compasses their life in this extraordinary read.

Let me start by saying if I could give more than five cups I would give 10 or more. Ms. Hill has written Lisa’s story so well that I could barely set the book down to wipe away my tears.
