I was first introduced to Carolyn Brown’s writings when a friend of mine brought me a couple of her books home from the Library. I thought I have never heard of this author, and was not sure if the story would really be that interesting. Well it was more than interesting, it was deliciously fantastic. I was completely absorbed with Emma’s Folly. A book had never captured my attention as much as the writings of Ms. Brown when it came to composing westerns. I read the book again and once more, after that. It was worth it and the characters really stuck in my head. I searched her name to find out if she had any other books out and discovered she had many out. When I emailed her to tell her about the books and the impact they had left on me, we quickly became instant friends, and learned we had some things in common. Ms. Brown has many series of books to be read and enjoyed and I hope others can discover the joy she emits in every page, with the characters she brings to life.
