She has an ongoing series that combines the past aka the ghosts or those that haunt with those in the present and includes some fun time traveling as well. This is her latest book just out now in mass paperback I bought it in trade when it first came out but I will also get it in handy dandy paperback as well. I love SUSAN WIGGS and NICHOLAS SPARKS and since they are also contemporary authors I thought to add them to today’s blog. Susan has been redoing a lot of her books and series and also adding to them lately so I hope you catch her newest stuff. She also has historicals as well but right now her newest releases are even on sale on the newest shelves all over.

Now for NICHOLAS SPARKS I know some know him from the movies and all that but not all of his works have hit film yet. I actually did not start to read him based on any of his books to movies actually. He is pretty extraordinary at times as well. And I hope you read some of his newest stories as well.

Call me old fashioned but ever since the 1960’s I have read and loved Science Fiction and all that goes with it. I hope you have enjoyed his works as well.

I am also totally in love with Amanda Scott and her series as well all about 7 sisters along the Hebrides and some totally awesome heroes as well.

I also adore those that mix up some of their books with time travel so some in the series are actually historicals as with Christina Skye, Lynn Kurland and Karen Marie Moning although they do tend to add a haunting flavor with a few ghosts along the way once in a while as well.Oh did I mention HIGHLANDERS and MEN IN KILTS maybe as well *grins*

I just finished a sweet short story that is inspirational yet something more too it is loving and fun and just plain great. LASTING LOVE by SHARON A. DONOVAN is something everyone should check out from The Wild Rose Press in their Inspiration books. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. And oh yes it is only little bit of pocket change only $2.00 so quite a deal for a quick read at lunch or break time, or like I did before bed.

Now I have personal favorites too from some great authors, as you can tell I like to read and review this genre especially M/M and M/M/F. 

James Buchanan, JM Snyder, Rick R. Reed, J.L. Langley  Mychael Black, Kayelle Allen, BA Tortuga, Sean Michael, Julia Talbot and a friend Michele Armstrong who had a great Christmas book out too. There are just the short list of fav authors if I had to go into the complete list we would be here all day and night I think. Suffice it to say I love the genre and I love my men however I can get them and with these books I tend to get a double and sometimes triple dose of them so that will make anyone grin. 

I hope you get a chance to read any GLBT author this month, I just highlighted a few that I reviewed and loved and some personal favorites is all but the list would go on and on to tell all of those I have read.

Jane Toombs accomplishments in the writing field stand out with seventy published books, both in paper and electronic. Her stories are a eye-opener for readers. The characters come alive on each page. The plot lines will have you  right at the start to very end. Ms Toombs I was thoroughly impressed by the devotion of your books!

I was not sure what to expect when I opened this book but it was not this stirring and very emotional, and well represented tale of strong women and even stronger men. To say love at first sight is one thing but knowing you are only for one person at first kiss is the other. That is part of the theme of this book, each woman falls in love almost with the first real man they meet and kiss. As in real life there is new life and death in this story. Tragedy begets history and legends, especially since these are women who grew up around the lakes and in times of Indians and other perils. The Indian heritage I believe is honored here also, that is another resounding feature, helping or being helped by Indians in most of these generations. Strong women who believe in themselves is a fine trait to hand down to any daughter and this is wonderfully done and written. I would suggest anyone wanting to know about the Great Lakes and the history of them and the women who lived around them will love this special tale.   Lainey, Review of Ladies of the Lakes
