WORTH THE TRIP

Rating: 4 Cups
Norah MacArthur has lived with the knowledge that the FBI cannot be trusted, thanks mostly to her con artist father’s ways. She is determined to be the exact opposite of him and she walks the straight and narrow as much as possible.
Trip Jones is a man who believes in doing things by the book. As an FBI agent, it is his job to keep tabs on Norah and her father.
After her novel hits bestselling proportions, Norah goes from being a behavioral psychologist to an overnight celebrity. To top it off, her father will soon be released from prison along with the secret to where the treasure is from the bank robbery he committed before he was put away. Now she has Trip on her tail, interrupting her life, and joining her in bed for some much needed red-hot sex. When all of the complications are over, can Norah come to realize that sometimes you have to give trust in order to receive it or will her heart be destroyed forever by Trip?
Worth the Trip is a fantastic novel with impressive adventures, sizzling sex, and two people about as opposite as possible. I did have some issues with the trust factor, especially since I did not feel it was ever really resolved. I found myself aggravated with how Norah continuously felt pulled by both Trip and her father, leaving her overwhelmed and discouraged to open her heart. The way the many different “villains” continued to come out to stalk Norah as she searched for the treasure added interesting plotlines to this novel. Whether a fan of romance or Ms. McCall herself, you will definitely enjoy this book.
