Stella is brand new to teaching and looking forward to her first assignment. She is young and enthusiastic and very pretty. She was raised in a city, and her new home is very different from what she is used to.

Damien is the math teacher at Stella’s new school. He is very different from the rest of the staff, unconventional clothes and longish hair. He is overqualified for his position and much sought after. His manners are very old fashioned and he is very good looking but not perfect, he is afraid of water and heights.

Stella’s first teaching assignment is at a very conservative rural school. She is looking forward to teaching and likes the little town. One of the teachers is particularly intriguing; Damien Wolfe is handsome, sexy, and determined to sweep her off her feet. That is until the first full moon when the secret he tried to keep from her comes out.

Ms. Murphy has a very interesting take on the werewolf genre. Her characters have fairly ordinary occupations; you cannot get much more average than a high school math teacher. The plot is well written and filled with romance, and the author has more than done her homework in creating her own werewolf lore. This is a sweet romance between two coworkers, one of whom just happens to be an immortal werewolf, which creates some unusual problems. The author has figured out a particularly unique solution to wrap things up nicely.
