Phoenix Wilde knows he has to get to know Jessica Greene. According to his brother Jackson, she is the one for them.

Jessie is in Wilde, Nevada to investigate the accidents that have been tarnishing the previously pristine reputation of the Wilde Mine. Although she is there on the authority of the Mine Safety and Health Administration, she knows that mixing business with pleasure is never a good thing.

Jackson Wilde knows that Jessie is the one for him and his four brothers. While most of his brothers will be just fine with this sassy spitfire, his brother Austin is another complication entirely.

Jackson heads out of town on business and it is Phoenix’s job to keep Jessie safe and entertained. For her part, the investigator cannot believe she is falling for both brothers so quickly. She is afraid her actions are a direct result of her ex-fiancé’s betrayal and she tries to push Phoenix away. But he is not having any of that and goes out of his way to show Jessie that she can have both him and Jackson as her own. But what will happen when the accidents that have been befalling the Mine suddenly strike too close to home?

I will start off by stating that you really do need to read the first book in this series, as this is a continuous story that is intertwined with each of the previous as well as the upcoming novels. I loved how much more I got to know Jessie, Phoenix, and Jackson in Wilde Fire compared to the previous tale. The emotional boundaries that Jessie has inside of her are explained in great detail in this story and it allows us to finally see why she is the way she is. The characters are strongly shown in this book and Ms. Lang has done a bang up job of giving us a very tantalizing tale. I cannot wait to see who is up next in this ongoing saga of the Wilde brothers and the very lucky lady who seems to be claiming all of their hearts one story at a time.
