EROTIC Romance Menage a Trois/Quatre Western/Cowboys
Rating: 4 cups

Miranda Herrington lives in a small town in New York. Her father is a doctor and she has learned enough from him to be a doctor herself. In fact, that is her dream. However, no one seems to have any intention of letting her live it.

Luke Quinton and Reese Martin have decided they are sick of being shot at, and so have retired from being lawmen. Miranda’s home is just a pit stop for them, or so they think.

When Luke is shot during a barroom dispute, Reece takes him to the local doctor’s house in the hopes the doctor can extract the bullet. Instead, he meets Miranda, the doctor’s daughter and falls instantly in lust. There’s only one problem, he and Luke like to share a woman between them, and he doubts the shy, and beautiful Miranda is going to go for something like that. However, Miranda surprises both of them by being the perfect woman for them. In spite of the fact that they love Miranda and she them, when she is offered the job of town doctor, Miranda decides she needs to take it and live her dream. There’s only problem, the local sheriff has his own agenda and it is not to the benefit of Miranda.

This has to be one of the best ménage stories I’ve had the pleasure of reading. I really enjoyed how quickly the characters fell for each other, and how tender both Luke and Reese were with Miranda. It was nice for once to read about men in this earlier time period who did not think less of Miranda because she was willing to follow through on her sexual desires. The love making in this story is positively scorching and darned near singed my fingers as I flipped the pages. The descriptions of both the South Dakota Territory, and a small town in New York are well done and reflective of the time period. This is a wonderful story that I’m more than happy to recommend.
