Price: To Be Determined
Rating: 3 Cups
Sara Hart quit her job and put everything she has into opening a Deli. With the help of her niece and the support of her sister, everything is set. She just needs a name. When she meets local turtle conservationist Jack Brandon, Sara is determined to name her new venture Turtle Soup.
Jack Brandon loves the sea but knows the importance of the aquarium and its sponsorship. When he meets Sara, he does not want to like her or her Deli but soon finds himself drawn to both. When she starts taking diving lessons, Jack cannot seem to keep away.
Sara and Jack have a love/hate relationship from the first meeting. They start to build a relationship despite not liking each other and both are willing to give more than they want to take from each other.
Turtle Soup is a sweet, heartwarming story set in an amazing underwater world. Sara and Jack have both lost loved ones and both are afraid to trust and love again. It is endearing to watch them develop feelings for each other. Ms. Thorne has given us a magical look into the world of marine biology and sea life conservation.
