Even as boys, Chance Reynolds and Sam Booth knew how lucky they were to be taken in by Butch and Betty. Now, as men, they can appreciate the love and care shown to them, and are ready to share their lives with someone special.
Although Fate Harbor is new to Josie Decker, it almost feels like coming home. Once again seeing the couple responsible for some of the happiest days of her life makes this move incredibly special.
Hard work and love for what she does make the ungodly hours of owning a bakery worth every moment, although Josie wishes she could take a little time off. Being with Chance and Sam is so good, it is scary, especially for a woman who has had so few people in her life she can count on. In every way possible, Chance and Sam show Josie how much they care, yet it is obvious she still has reservations. It is going to take a concerted effort on both their parts to get her to see how amazing she is, even if it takes a lifetime.
Sam, Chance, and Josie are sweeter and more decadent than all the goodies in Sweet Dream Desserts combined. The men are so attentive and caring towards Josie, it is almost too much. Josie’s character even has a hard time believing they can be this loving so soon in their relationship. Chance and Sam, however, lay it all on the line for the woman they love, and every moment together is sexier than the next.
