Travis Simms figured the best place to settle down and forget the painful past was a little town in Montana. He promised to never let another woman enter his heart, but that was before he met sassy Dusty.
Dusty Jean Larson loves her independence. She has no desire to hook up with any man until she comes across the likes of Travis. Dusty loves riding horses and anything to do with the outdoor life.
Travis was busy building a hotel on his land, and putting the past behind him, until he got a glimpse of the striking woman in men’s attire. Things were going great until he made her acquaintance, and now Dusty is a woman who is hard to forget. Dusty helps her sister with the Triple D Ranch, along with some of their other siblings. The moment she butts heads with Travis is an instant she never forgets. The mountain man definitely gets under her skin. In no time, she and Travis seem to become increasingly fond of each other even though neither wants to admit it. Travis can only hope he can put the past behind him to really begin a life with the woman who has positively stolen his heart.
To Tame a Montana Heart is an engaging read. This reader was immediately drawn in from the beginning. The strong character of Travis, and the sassiness of Dusty, blends in with some interesting dialogue that spins a splendid good read. Dawn Luedecke adds just the right amount of zest within her main characters, and secondary characters to create a convincing story of love and romance, along with action, thrills and downright good charm. She incorporates a western romance that is hard to put down, with a cast of colorful players that one will not soon forget.
