TORN FROM THE SHADOWS
Sierra Fox, Book 4

Digging around in the back of a wardrobe, the last thing Sierra expects to find is a false back and a flight of stairs. Discovering her grandmother's secret magic room provides more questions than it answers, but Sierra's life rarely has time for answering personal questions.
When Jason left his pack, he walked away from the heritage he had always worked towards, future pack alpha. But that was many years ago and he never expected to hear from any of them again, least of all the current alpha, his father.
Sierra needs to find a way to enter the shadow patch and free her grandparents, which will release her powers. Which she can then use to save her and her sister from the death warrant on their lives. Simple. Or it would be if that was her biggest problem, even if the only bait a shadow will take is a child under ten.
This is the fourth Sierra book and quickly takes you deeper into her life. I would recommend reading the earlier books to appreciate the full extent of complexities woven within this world of magic, deceit and loyalties from the strangest of places. Ms. Sfetsos has a unique ability to mix the mystical with reality, strength with vulnerability, and adding a layer of magic all her own. I love Sierra and the world she lives in. I cannot wait to catch up on the earlier books I have missed and I guarantee not to be making that mistake again.
