Sabrina O’Hara is supposed to be celebrating being thirty-nine again after surviving breast cancer, but she is about to learn that there is something far more deadly. Her fiancé, or maybe not, is not what he appears and neither is her sexy personal trainer.
Evan Desmond is an undercover agent investigating a child prostitution ring. His main suspect is Sabrina’s fiancé, Scott, and possibly Sabrina. Evan is sure hoping that Sabrina is as innocent as she appears, because he may just be falling in love with her.
Sabrina never thought she would go through anything deadlier than cancer, but she could not have been more wrong. Evan is determined that Sabrina will live to see her next thirty-ninth birthday. But it will take both of them to succeed.
Reading Thirty-Nine Again is amazing, like falling through the rabbit’s hole in Alice in Wonderland. Lynn Reynolds creates a story in which she tackles the theory that life after surviving cancer may not be as rosy as everyone thinks. Sabrina is faced with bills, a lackluster fiancé, and a body that is less than perfect since her illness, but she has strength and tenacity in abundance. With the guns, bad guys, and sexy men, Thirty-Nine Again is a wonderful and exciting read.
