THE WOLF’S MOON
10 July 2013
Paranormal Shifter Romance
Rating: 3 Cups
Silke has been shunned by her village from childhood due to her mismatched eyes. When her parents are lost to a winter sickness, the local healer takes her in and things go from bad to worse.
Raoul is used to staying on the move, until he meets Silke in her woods. He is drawn to her in a way he does not understand. But his wolf is happy to bring her gifts to make sure she is comfortable during the cold winter months.
Neither Silke nor Raoul are used to being treated with kindness, which makes the bond they soon develop even more important to them.
This is a sweet story of finding love and acceptance. The characters are exceptionally kind, given the treatment they have both previously received. Ms. Brochu’s writing style is somewhat unusual, which can be confusing at times, especially when the characters are speaking. Unfortunately, this can have the effect of reducing the connection between reader and characters.
