Amber O’Neil has always had a special telepathic link with her twin brother. When she senses he is in trouble, she drops everything and leaves sunny California for Ireland.
Kevin Hennessy is at his deceased father’s home expecting to spend the rainy night in a quiet way. But when there is a pounding on his door and someone asks him if he is a cop, he has a feeling his calm evening is not to be.
When Kevin first hears that Amber can supposedly talk to her brother through a mind link, he is skeptic to say the least. However, there is something in the air and suddenly she can communicate with not only her brother, but other people and even some animals. Expecting that once her brother is saved, Amber can go back to her life back in California, she is shocked to find herself embroiled in a hellacious adventure where trouble is brewing. When all is said and done, can she convince Kevin that she has more to give and wants him in her life for good?
Smugglers, murder, dangerous situations, a selkie prince, telepathic activities, and seals that just might save the day are wrapped up in The Wild Irish Sea. When it comes to love, adventure, and paranormal interests, Loucinda McGary is a sure bet. I thought how Amber’s powerful connection with her brother grew to embrace so many other people and beings, how Kevin had such a torturous past that kept him fearing the future, and how Kevin interacted with Amber was written with a soft and gentle touch. This novel is a mixture of tough and gentle, rough and soft, wild and calm and will leave you happy to have picked up this book.
