Erica is a secretary. She lives alone and has no family or significant other. She is afraid of using public transportation at night, but her car has broken down.

Michael and Fador are brothers. They once hunted wolves to provide for their family, until the night they chased the White Wolf. Now they are shape-shifters, charged with saving wolves wherever they can. They have been doing this for hundreds of years.

Erica is abducted from her tram station by a man in a suit and brought to an island where she is to be used as bait for rich men to hunt wolves. Shape-shifters Michael and Fador have also been captured by the hunters who are unaware of their true nature. Both brothers are attracted to Erica as she is to them. Before they decide their future they have to escape the island.

This is an interesting tale. Michael and Fador are intriguing characters, but I would have liked to know more about them. Erica is a great heroine, I liked her spunk. The plot is full of twists and turns and quite a bit of excitement, but the author left a few loose ends. I wanted to know what happened to the other secretary and whether Mr. Hiroshi was going to get away with his actions. The future of the trio is also a mystery. Overall, I really enjoyed it though.
