As fast as Amy Sorentinogets out of Catcher Creek as a kid, she is glad to be back. She just has to remember a few steadfast rules, also avoiding any further humiliation and embarrassment.
Building his ranch from the ground up makes Kellan Reed very proud of all he has accomplished. He has come a long way from an angry, scrawny teenager to a man with a successful business and a beautiful home.
Cowboys are Amy’s downfall; always have been, and always will be if she cannot get a handle on her emotions, which for her is scarier than the cowboys themselves. She and her sisters have too much riding on this ranch to get involved with anyone, especially Kellan and all his cowboy-lusciousness. Drama is the last thing Kellan needs in his life, yet being around Amy only makes him want her more, which is a really bad idea considering what his uncle is planning. Amy’s family has had so much heartache in the past year, Kellan wants in no way to compound it, but if he cannot stop his uncle, the Sorentino sisters could lose everything.
Amy Sorentino is a powder keg flirting with matches, so do not be surprised to find these pages getting a little hot to the touch. Kellan is most certainly the cowboy of her dreams, yet he is also much, much more. In my opinion, it is Kellan who really makes this story, especially at those times when you pretty much know what is going to happen. Still, you like him so much it keeps everything interesting. I am eagerly looking forward to more amazing stories from Catcher Creek, hopefully featuring Rachel, Vaughn, Jenna and maybe even Jake.
