As a teen, Paula Wittmore has left Haven Woods, sent to a private school where she has a baby. As she struggles to raise her daughter Rowan on her own, she returns only a handful of times.
A phone call from one of her mother’s friends says that her mother is ill, so Paula and her daughter must go quickly. Therefore, she heads back to Haven Woods with Rowan, never expecting to see the horrors that lie there.
The secret of the driving force behind it all will finally be revealed, about why Paula and her daughter are so important to her mother’s friends. But can Paula’s mother convince her to leave and stay away like she has for years or will this be the end of The Thirteen?
Oh, the Thirteen is so creepy. I have had goose bumps reading it. If you are ready for a scary, keep you up all night read, then go grab a copy of The Thirteen today. I love that there are surprises on every page, so many twists and turns with things not seeming right at first that will eventually fall in place. This book has great characters in a great story. Kudos to Ms. Molony.
