THE SECRET OF TALMOR MANOR
M/M Romance, Paranormal, Mystery, Erotic
Rating: 4 Cups
With his dreams becoming more and more real, Jacob Yoshimoto is a little worried he might be losing it. He never gave much credence to dreams, and rarely remembers his own, but this time they are bleeding into his reality.
The time spent in limbo is barely a faint memory for Nathaniel Norwich. He was aware of the passage of time, but not how or why he came to be where he is now.
The dreams that took him back in time to Talmor Manor were so real, and the ghosts residing within its walls are begging for his help, but Jake has no idea where to even start. Then to awaken with another man’s consciousness in his head is more than a little disconcerting, but to suddenly have that man become real has Jake reeling in shock. Nate is a beautiful man inside and out, and Jake must force himself to see Nate as a friend only, but it gets harder every day. They both know that their time may be limited, and that Talmor Manor is much more than a dream, but they are ill prepared for what is about to unfold.
This story has both a great mystery and an even better mystical element to its plot. There is fantastic dialogue and debates between Jake and Nate, discussing everything from pagan runes to agnosticism. The conversations feel so intelligent and real, it is easy to get caught up in the character’s thought and emotions. The relationship between Jake and Nate evolves slowly, and as real friendship is born, so is your appreciation for the depth of their feelings.
