Adrianna has been dying for some time now. The doctors cannot seem to find a cause or cure for her mysterious illness. So when an old friend of her father’s claims he can help her, she has to go to him.
Alec has not seen Adrianna in person in seven years, but he has been in her mind and her dreams. She belongs to him, despite the fact that her father betrayed him. Now the only way to cure her is to kill her.
A mysterious mansion in the fog will become either a home or a prison for the dying Adrianna. The vampire Alec will not let he leave his home alive, but this does not have to be a bad thing.
The author has created characters with very strong chemistry and their love scenes are pretty hot. The two are tied together by the misguided actions of Adrianna’s father, and in the end they would not have it any other way. Alec and Adrianna are great characters and the atmosphere in Alec’s home is deliciously creepy, as is Elena.
