THE HOT STREAK
Rating: 4 Cups
Casey is in awe of the professional baseball world. Despite her unexpected exposure to a new environment and her feeling for Tyler, she is willing to adjust. She soon learns that as with anyone who lives in the limelight, Tyler has a secret.
Tyler Hammond is accustomed to living his life in the fast lane; dating women who are from that world. With his first glimpse of Casey, he finds the epitome of who a woman should be. Will his secret destroy the joy he has found or can he keep it all together.
Tyler has done the unforgiveable and deceived Casey. The deception has been uncovered, but Casey is a smart woman who knows that forgiveness can be part of any strategy in the game of love. The key is to finding out if forgiveness is deserved.
Hot Streak is an interesting take on loving someone who is in the limelight. Ms. Tan takes the mythical star and makes him an all too human man with flaws and all. I like the character of Tyler and was rooting for him because he garnered sympathy and deserved happiness. I enjoyed the book and found it to be an entertaining read.
