THE GUARDIAN'S WITCH
RUTH A. CASIE
Rating: 4 Cups
Lady Lisbeth Reynolds has lost so much because of what others will never understand. The future is unknown, but she is sure there is one among them who is a traitor. Lord Alex Stelton is the only hope for her and her people, if only he can accept her for who she is.
Alex never thinks marriage is a part of his future. Still, to receive land and castle, he will accept a marriage by proxy, especially to Lisbeth. Now he has to tell her.
Betrayal by one thought to be trustworthy is the least of the issues for Alex and Lisbeth. When secrets are revealed and the traitor takes aim, will Alex and Lisbeth trust each other enough to save themselves and those around them?
The Guardian's Witch is a magical love story. The imagery provided through words alone allows the reader to feel a part of the story. I find Alex and Lisbeth to be realistic in their emotions and feelings, and I can see the love between them. The cast of characters draw me in because each individual has a part in the story and are created to entice the reader to solve the mystery and find the traitor. A mystery full of romance and magic to entertain readers and keep them turning the page.
