THE DRAGON SLAYER
Viking Warriors Book 2
Rating: 4 Cups
Ruard failed to receive the land promised by the king, and his expectations for his new bride are low. His low expectations rise with her arrival, but he realizes all is not what it seems.
Lady Catriona arrives, intending to fulfill her obligations under pressure from a deceitful figure. Unfortunately, she is under obligations her future husband has no knowledge of and could be the cause of his demise.
Lady Catriona must determine if she can trust the man she is to marry, or save the life of one she loves dearly. Ruard is aware there is a plan afoot, but is unaware of the role his bride plays. Only together can they both receive what they desire.
Jianne Carlo once again successfully delivers a story of the highest caliber. The characters and world are artfully created with an eye for catching a reader and ensnaring them in the story. It moves gracefully and at a pace to keep the reader caught up in the plot. I highly recommend Jianne Carlo as well as The Dragon Slayer.
