THE BROTHERHOOD 7: SINGLE WHITE FANG

David is a big man who does not see himself as being anything special. He works with antiques and has a gift for bringing the ancient back to life. With a little help from Liam, an incubus with a heart, David meets Jory at a flea market and falls head over heels. Sweet and gentle, David is stunned when Jory returns his admiration.
Jory is a vampire who does his best to appear human. Unlike many vampires, he has given up drinking human blood. While Jory finds himself falling for David, he hesitates to tell him of his true nature, afraid he will lose David if he does so.
When it becomes obvious to David that Jory is harboring secrets, he tries to shrug it off. However, when little things begin to become obvious, such as Jory only going out at night and his being allergic to garlic, David is not sure what he is dealing with. Finally, Jory realizes he must make the choice between telling David the truth and losing him. It is only when he makes his choice that it becomes apparent what a gift David is to him.
This is one of Ms Okati’s best! Emotionally satisfying and sexually hot, I read this book far into the night just so I could discover whether these two men were going to make it. The world building is superb in the extreme. It is similar to our world, but with a subtle fantasy twist. Ms. Okati writes Jory as a vampire who obviously still has his soul. I found this endearing.
