Paige is a professor at UCLA and engaged to a wonderful guy who loves her. She still longs for the man who disappeared on her when she was seventeen. This has affected her life profoundly and she has not been truly happy since then.
Christian or Xen as he was known ten years ago is a visitor from another planet. An accident has left him with amnesia and he does not remember his past, his planet, or Paige.
When she was seventeen, Paige fell in love with a handsome guy named Xen. He confided to her that he was from another planet and that he was studying life on Earth for three hundred and sixty days. They made the most of their time together and she was devastated when he disappeared. Ten years later she is engaged to another man when she sees him again. The name is different but the man is the same and her whole life is turned upside down.
This is an interesting story of love lost and found again. The story really should be classed as Sci Fi, since Xen/Christian is from another planet, but the majority of the story is contemporary romance. The author does a good job of describing a woman torn between her soulmate and the man she promised to marry. Ryan the fiance is almost too good to be true. I did not quite get why she had to go away and why for so long, but I enjoyed the story.
