Emma is a caring loving woman. She is the daughter of a famous pop star and works for his record label. She is not as confident in herself as she tries to make herself appear.
Dario is a millionaire shoe designer with an ancient title. Women are attracted to his good looks, but want to marry him for money and position. He is being pressured by his family to marry the woman of their choice and wants nothing to do with her.
Three days before her wedding, Emma walks into her apartment to find one of her bridesmaids having sex with her fiancé on the floor of her living room. Devastated, she calls off the wedding and goes on the honeymoon with a good friend. Dario is tired of women never looking past his money and position and masquerades as a dance instructor to find a woman who will love him for himself. Sparks fly immediately between Dario and Emma and their relationship grows hot and fast. Unfortunately, Dario still has not revealed his identity to Emma, who is still smarting from being deceived by her ex.
This story hooked me during the first chapter and I could not put it down until the last word. The book is very like a classic old fashioned romance, but with some spicy hot love scenes. Dario is very sexy and I was half in love with him by the end of the story. Emma is sweet, but no pushover and I liked that. There was one major and pretty scary villain, but in an interesting twist a few minor bad guys tried to get in the way of true love also. The plot is full of romantic ups and downs, leading to a very exciting climax and satisfying conclusion.
