Prowling Around 1
Rating: 3 Cups
Bree borrowed her friend’s cabin in the woods to take control of her life. She has felt nothing but hurt and anger since her husband left, and she wants to move on.
Travis bought the large piece of land out in the woods for privacy and space. After his attack, he needed time to learn about his new self.
Even though their first meeting does not go very well, Bree and Travis have a strong attraction towards each other. Their second meeting fairs better and they each start to open up, sharing about themselves and admitting their attraction.
This book is filled with a lot of emotion. Most of it belongs to Bree as she deals with her hurt and anger from her divorce, but Travis is also dealing with confusion over his new self and his reaction to Bree. Their emotions were believable and well written, and I enjoyed the different approach to this paranormal romance. There is a part of the story that I felt needed closure, but overall, Snow’s Heat is an enjoyable read.
