Kara is in love with her much younger boyfriend, but his parents are not a fan of hers or her of them. She is both older and of another race. However, it would appear in the case of his mother she has no issue with Kara, but just wants her baby boy all to herself.
Ron has always been in the middle despite the fact he is the baby of the family. He is uncomfortable with his own family at times, so how does he expect Kara not to run screaming?
There is a secret in Ron’s family, one which could very well be the straw that divides. Kara must look past her own resentment to help her man get through a very difficult time while at the same time preserving the love they feel for each other.
Snowbound Summer is an interesting story that offers the reader a peek into insanity. Family squabbles are at the forefront of this story, but the love is still in the air. Warning, there is one crazy mother-in-law, which will entice you to pull her hair out. I thoroughly enjoyed the family dynamics with a whole lot of spice tossed in, which at times blows up to epic proportions.
