Roxanne “Roxy” Banfield has had to choose between being a witch and being a mortal with a chance at a normal life. Her mother wants her to find the man who will open her up to her fertility magic while her father wants her to ignore the witchy side of herself and just be human.
Kieran “Key” DeMicca is a man who hunts down rogues even as he tries to stave off the bloodlust that calls to him. When the lust for blood gets too intense, he draws and the woman he has recently started depicting is none other than Roxy.
Roxy is terrified of Key but not because of him being a hunter. His sensuality calls to her sexuality and has her wanting to revel in the fertility that lies dormant inside of her. Even as her brain tells her to beware and stay away, she finds she is unable, not only because of Key oozing sex but because someone is after her. That someone is a man who has strong ties to the hunter and who Key thought was dead. The evil being will stop at nothing to control the world by sacrificing the person Key has come to think of as his.
I do have to start off by stating I found myself lost at times, and I am not sure if it is because of the way the storyline was phrased or because of the previous stories in this series which I have not read. However Sinful Magic is a novel rich in heat, passion, danger, paranormal activity, a very an intriguing dragon tattoo with a mysterious background, and two people who have been destined to be together before they were even born. The guilt that is eating away at Key was so intense I could practically feel it oozing off the pages. Ms. Lyon then adds more oomph to her plot by including a woman fighting her very nature because of how immovable her parents are on the subject of her magic. This is one book that will keep you wondering what is going to happen next.
