Wicked for Christmas

It is too much like a fairy tale for Amelia Watson to believe. She, a governess, could never aspire to marry someone of such a high station, but he loves her and wants to marry her.

From the moment he saw her, Lord Dante knew he could not live without Amelia. He could care less what society or his parents think, and vows to love her forever.

Amelia goes from elated to crushed in the span of one night, and for five years, she carries the heartache inside. Dante was taken the night they were to be married, only to awaken as a vampire. Despite his apparent soulless state, Dante has never stopped loving Amelia, but his sire is not quite ready to let him go.

Love knows no boundaries for Amelia and Dante, and it melts the heart to see them struggle and fight to be together.

Naughty or Nice

When she lost her husband and daughter to yellow fever, Tess Bennett felt her life was over. Months have passed, and grief is still holding her in its grasp, and with the holidays soon approaching, Tess feels the desperate need to get away from her home and her memories.

The Penney Candy Company is an extraordinary business, and its owner even more so, but Johnny Gazara is becoming tired of catering to the eccentric millionaire. He is an artist, and although the work he has done for Edgar Penney is challenging and beautiful, it will never be seen by the public.

On the spur of the moment, Tess takes a dramatic leap, and leaves behind her home, but most especially her late husband’s partner,] who thinks he now has rights to her person. She sees an ad in a train station, and within no time, finds herself employed by the Penney Candy Company, and that is only the beginning. Johnny greets Tess, and feels an instant connection to the lovely widow, but when things heat up, he has to question, what does he really know about her?

For Tess who has been nothing but nice her entire life, it is fun to see her embrace her naughty side. It is easy to imagine the grief that has broken her heart, but her soul still lives, and Johnny is the perfect man to set it free.

Stolen Chances

Open arms is not the reception Winston Matthews received when he returned home from the sea, at least, not from his father. He could have easily followed in his father’s nefarious footsteps, and for a time he did, but he has put those days behind him and moved on.

At this holiday gathering, Beatrice Latimer, aka Rosie Archer, can see a wealth of beautiful little trinkets available for the taking. She is good at what she does, she has to be, and focus is key to staying out of trouble.

She may appear to be a genteel young lady, but Winston caught the gleam in her eye when she saw Lady Ponsonby’s ruby necklace. He decides then and there to stick close to the beautiful little thief, and is quite sure that closeness will be absolutely no hardship. Rosie too is aware that Winston is not all that he seems, but if he is competition, she will have to step up her game. They feed off of each other’s passion, but when the jewels really do go missing, where will the blame lie?

Rosie and Winston are as hot and sultry as their surroundings, and their story is as sexy as it is entertaining. British Honduras is an exotic and unique setting for these two young lovers, and it makes you want to keep on reading.

These are my kind of Christmas stories! Forget all of the sappy sweet or tear jerking holiday tales, and settle in for a celebration of passion and romance. Each of these gifted authors more than accomplishes the balance between great storylines, fabulous characters and the sexiest of love scenes. Every holiday should be savored and enjoyed, and if you make these stories a part of it, you will be well on your way.
